Preserved Darwen Corporation East lancs bodied Leyland Titan PD2 39, JTF 217 F is pcitured at a bus rally on Blackpool promenade. This bus passed with the Darwen operations to Blackburn Corporation in 1974 in which fleet it was numbered 139.

Week 39 - Texture
As we're having unseasonal late-summer temperatures of about 25 degrees, and the sun this afternoon is hot enough to split rocks, I thought I'd check out my fur rug for a pic for this week's theme!
This is no ordinary rug, but an electrically heated one, so in the raw winter evenings, I plug it in and cosy up underneath. I then get shoved out from underneath by the dog.

Es un proyecto personal de Gabi de la Torre con la idea de tomar fotografías de personas que van por la calle, tal como se muestran y los vemos los demás, con el fin de reflejar en imágenes como somos en esta época y que quede documentada de alguna manera.
La idea es un proyecto de un año, que empieza en noviembre 2013.

This is a personal photografic project of Gabi de la Torre, "Persones per Sant Cugat" (People walking by Sant Cugat), which consists in taking pictures of people going down the street just the way they look themselves and how the others see them, with the idea of reflecting on images how people look at this time; the way of dressing and what you are carrying. It is recorded to document the current way of life.

This week you have been pulling yourself upright. You sometimes let go and stand freely for a few seconds. You stand at every opportunity. Three more teeth have come out. I watched you crawl properly on all fours around the lounge. You like to pretend that you can't crawl. You don't seem to be bothered with it but I KNEW that you could!
Your favourite foods are blueberries, watermelon and Cheerios. You LOVE your toy Eeyore and you HATE laying on the changing mat to get dressed or to have your nappy sorted. You love Peek-a-Boo games, stories and being tickled. You look like such a baby in this photo. I want to step into the picture and scoop you up :-)

These are my two besties! Gillian (to my right) and Amy (to my left). I love them so much! :)
We took this during 8th period today (my yearbook class) while I was waiting for some of the Student Council (I'm Secretary!) and National Honors Society (I'm Vice-President!) to arrive. I had to take headshots for the yearbook spreads. Anyway. My friends and I like to be silly. :)
