But the children all were gone......
Today was another day working at the other house. At some point during the last owners time in the house, they ran a daycare out of it. Throughout the house we find these haunting little memories of childhoods long gone.
Day 39/365
"Oh, I asked her for water, she brought me gasoline.
Oh, I asked her for water, she brought me gasoline.
That's the troublingest woo-hoo (woman?), that I ever seen.
The church bell tollin', the hearse come driving slow.

I hope my baby, don't leave me no more.
Oh tell me baby, when are you coming back home?
Oh tell me baby, when are you coming back home?
You know I love you baby, but you've been gone too long."

Today in the morning it and early afternoon the weather was really good. It felt like spring out, the sun was out and it was all good but then it got cold and cloudy. Luckily when I had to catch the bus it was really nice out and I had about 10 minutes before my bus came so I decided to walk around a bit. This is the Phoenix building downtown. I really like the lines and the way the building kind of cuts through the sky and looks like one side of an open book.
you could sleep in the shade, draw some breath -
please draw breath, please draw breath -
let's let nights become days -
so come down kid the roofs aren't safe now.

I had another picture in my mind for today's 365: A selfie near a certain statue in the Tournay-Solvay Park. Unfortunately, the place was invaded by Boy Scouts and I didn't want to make a show of myself running to and fro between the statue and my "gorillapoded" camera! Maybe I shouldn't have minded them. Did I make fun of one of their leaders wearing a sombrero? It was Sunday, after all, and all kind of nuts are turned loose on that day!
Anyway, I kept the statue selfie in store for later and chose the nearby train stop for its colorful tags... And so ends Chapter 6 of my Awfully Big Adventure...
