I call these the days of latin american cinematography. That well captured essence of timelessness in days that last forever and live forever as surrealistic light washes your memories revisiting moments of utter silence and perfection. These are some days in Nicaragua.
This poor elephant from the London Elephant Parade really didn't know quite what it was! This is #39, "Ladybird", by Peera Bangkae. I wanted to see if this one would climb to the top of my finger and then fly away, but it was a tad too heavy to hold up :)
It was located in Hyde Park during May-June 2010 before being sold in the charity auction - someone liked it enough to pay £18,260 for it. All in aid of the conservation of the indian elephant.
