Attempting the self portrait again. This is tricky and I think I need an assistant! I tried focusing on a broom and quickly moving the broom and replacing it with myself, but I had to be pretty fast, and it was a corded broom so I had to get that cord out of the way too! So I am not exactly smiley- more like sweaty by the time I've rushed to my spot!

Just one of the 114 cats we (Best Friends) just transfered from Pahrump, Nevada to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah. They all need homes, and some of them still need names;o) If you're in the area, come on over and fall in love!
I got home late today and had no idea what photo to take, so I resorted to a self portrait.
I was struggling to know what pose to pull as my patented 'Blue Steel' look is just me looking grumpy/angry! As such, I decided to use a non-portrait lens, my 10-22mm ultra wide angle. Even though I look stupid I settled on this shot because it made me laugh due to the perspective of the lens.
Bought myself a tripod. And dad bought me a flash just to shoot at the COT party -- and just because he wants me to pursue in my hobby with photography. Sadly, I'm still a beginner -- despite the fact that I've been having my dslr for almost 3 years. (Fail). But I really want to get into it. Slowly but surely I will.
