A walk to the beach following our girls birthday sleepover......ended with them all stripping off and swimming (IN OCTOBER!) then pasties and apples for sustenance.

Got up this morning around 9 ish, looked out my window, and saw this!! So I rushed upstairs, grabbed my camera, searched for my coat and shoes, and went to take some pictures. When I first got out there, I only had my Canon EOS 350D (XT), with the 18-55mm lens on it. By then the fog or smoke or whatever it was was dissipating. So I ran BACK inside, and got my 75-300mm telephoto lens... So this was pretty much all the was left when I finally snapped some half decent shots.

I've started a new project at work today. I'm trying to build a web portal for our website, to use internally for client management, and externally for our clients to use. I've not really done a lot of coding for like ever, but I'm working through this tutorial to build this Ruby on Rails project. We'll see how it goes.

i hung out with an old friend in town.
It was fun,
i ejoyed it a real lot to be honest.
Last week of summer,
not as great as expected, i want school.
Bear lives next door. He's a gorgeous Black Labrador mix who is still a puppy. Since he came from a pound, no one knows what the lab is mixed with. That doesn't matter, as he is well loved.
I asked my neighbor to introduce us, and he was happy to do so. Bear LOVED having pictures taken and making a new friend ... even though I inevitably smelled of cat.
