Taken on the world wide photo walk I participated in with 2 friends....

This flower broke from a larger bouquet and it was so odd looking I had to save it.

I spent a ridiculous amount of time yesterday making a felt banner for the boy's room. If only I weren't such a perfectionist.

I don't love it, but I don't hate it. I get so frustrated with crafting projects; they rarely turn out as I see them in my head.

That's the right-hand house of the pair. Birthplace of celebrated crime writer Rosalind Mitchell. Well, not yet but give it a few years. And she wasn't actually born in this house, she was born at Risedale Maternity Hospital on the mainland, but she was brought home to this house afterwards.
