Day 39: Well, I'm throwing in the towel. I've been fighting a cold or flu for several days now, and I'm about to resort to medication for some relief. I absolutely abhor taking medication, so it's like admitting temporary defeat. On the plus side, this mug of warm Theraflu will have me off to dreamland in about 20 minutes. Milepost 39 on the former Michigan Central is located in northwest Ann Arbor, Michigan. These tracks host Amtrak's Wolverine Service trains between Chicago and Detroit and a few Norfolk Southern freight trains. The rails are owned by the Michigan Department of Transportation.
This is me at 39 weeks pregnant. The pictures were taken by my hubby....which was just a teeny tiny STRESSFUL! :) He knows nothing about cameras, posing, angles etc. So, I"m trying to pose myself and then direct him...whew...at least we got a couple. :)

39°C (102.2 °F for our imperialist friends) is the outside temperature reading on my 2017 Ford Mondeo Titanium on July 18th 2022.
I'm satisfied this reading is accurate which makes this the hottest temperature ever recorded in my home town of Chelmsford (UK) and the first time the temperature has ever broken the 100°F barrier here.
The previous official temperature record recorded in Chelmsford was 37.7 °C (99.9°F) on 25 July 25th 2019.
Like some records this won't last long. It potentially could have been broken the very next day ;-)
