Our town is in a public dispute..........The city is now putting in a fireplace almost on the sidewalk of main street and has the public split in controversy. I was sitting waiting for the bridge so I snapped this shot just to the side of my car.

I gave the boys my old ipods today. Alex listened to Fleet Foxes all day! Noah complained that I didn't have the Beatles and Led Zeppelin on it already. Oh boys!!

didn't challenge myself as much as i probably should have,
but felt pretty confident in my skills,
which is also valuable.
Can you tell I wasnt feeling very inspired?! I made a 'chocolate pavlova' for the daring bakers challenge and just wasnt really feeling it when I plated it! Everyone assured me that it tasted great at bookclub!
Memory Lane
I took my camera on a stroll today, I traced paths walked many times before, mostly as a young child/teenager. My route took me past my Dear Old Nan's House, no longer with us, I was sad to see the house she had cared for so proudly unloved and in a sad and sorry state.
I went on through the pannier market and came to the alleyway leading to the building which for years housed my family's commercial printing business. Established in 1878 the business had been a part of the centre of the town for many years and I had spent hours with my brother kicking a football around in the yard at the top of the alleyway, or hitching rides on the loading ramp of the lorry delivering milk to the old co-op next door...
These handprints, made by someone small, caught my eye as I reached the top of the alleyway and reminisced about all the times my brother and I had played there also...

Today went through Seney Wildlife Refuge and spied the eagles nest and two sitting out from the nest. Thinking maybe they are the eaglets!!

真想把教育部的大官都殺了。
對我來說，小說如果不一氣呵成，似乎很容易失去動力
文字的用途若只為發洩一時的想法，很難能拿出去賣啊。
就當作練習吧。
老實說，校內能夠拍攝室內動態主題的機會還真是少之又少
不敢將ISO拉高，怕會嚴重影響畫質，
但這時心裡浮出一句話：
「當你需要時，不要害怕拉高你的感光度。」
若為了得到好照片，這點冒險是值得的。
但看來我冒的險還不夠大。
352.365 - December 18, 2013 - As usual we had youth Bible study tonight. I took this picture on my walk up to the house we have study in. I had some fun with it in photoshop mirroring the tree. I wish that cloud wasn't behind the tree and I was too lazy to photoshop it out but oh well. I like how it turned out. I originally wanted the horizon and sky to be normal, with only the tree from the trunk up being mirrored but I only accomplished the horizon. It was going to take too long to clean out the cloud from behind the branches. For some reason I just really like how the tree looks being perfectly symmetrical.
Day 365! I've been waiting on this today for a long time...a year to be exact. Since it's a leap year I only have one more photo to take.

I spent a great time with bedouins in the Wahiba Sands. Fantastic hospitality, sheer enthusiasm for welcoming us all (about 30 people and 6 nationalities), genuine smiles. Walking bare feet in the sand, watching sunset/sunrise over the dunes, eating by candels and petrol lamps, singing and dancing by the camp fire, sleeping in simple huts. And of course, riding camels! Sounds cheesy but was great fun.
