One of the best days I've had in a long time.

Day 2 of my Project 365. Today, I used an image I'm also using for a photography scavenger hunt I'm taking part in. This is my interpretation of the Holidays are over. It's always a sad sign the first week of January to see the tree get put out on the street. However, having today off was a perfect opportunity to clean up the house and remove all the holiday decorations.

I don't have a fixed Internet connection at my apartment so this is my set-up in order for me to browse the net and be able to upload the photos for my project. Hopefully my Internet connection will come soon!

This was taken on a rainy hike in Forest Park. And it was raining. A lot. Even by Portland standards. I was hiking for about 2.5 hrs and I don't think it stopped for even 30 seconds.

I was trying to think of a way to photographically communicate the immense amount of rain and decided upon this image. I left the raindrops on the photo as they fell on the camera's lens.

The hood was done in chalkboard paint.

Went for the usual lunch hour walk with Nard today and found some more signs of spring. Luckily I was smart today and brought my macro converter with me today and managed to get this.

I really like the bell shape to this flower, I also really liked how the stem came up and curved so that the flower is hanging instead of standing straight up.

On a non-photo related note, a friend of mine asked me to sign up for www.goodreads.com, just wondering if anyone from here is using the site as well?

348.365 - December 14, 2013 - My daughter had her bunny out this evening so I asked her to be my subject for today. I had a lot of fun editing this one to make it look like a snowy winter wonderland (the picture was taken in our living room).
