Eight ADL Enviro200MMCs have joined the batch of Enviro400MMCs delivered earlier in the year, with all eight allocated down at Totton depot for Waterside routes. 281 is pictured here in Hythe en-route for Southampton on the fast route 9.

A Man Called Magic.
I came across this man today as he was sitting on the side of the road making wooden pipes. I knew I had found a great subject so I started up a conversation with him! He was very pleasant to talk to and after chatting for a few minutes he let me know that his name was Magic. After I introduced myself I told him that I had never met anyone by the name of Magic before, to which he replied "my mother had a great sense of humor!" He then changed the subject and we began talking about the pipes he was making...
Today was great. It was just what I needed... I walked all around Capitol Hill today and once again I came to the realization that I'm incredibly happy in the city. I really do enjoy it much more than whole small town feel...
I feel like my creativity got a reboot today. I came up with a ton of new concepts and I can't wait to execute them... I feel like finishing this 365 is actually attainable and it won't be quite as painful as it has been the past couple weeks!

We all know I'm missing, like, 6 or 7 teeth. Pretty much the 6 or 7 you can't see here, haha. But I DO still have a lovely smile, and I really want to keep it as close to that as possible with the teeth I still have!
I love my tea, and coffee happens every now and then, too. A few weeks ago, I really started noticing how much more I had to edit my yellow teeth in photos these days. I bought a non-OTC whitening toothpaste last winter with high hopes...but that tube is almost out. If it worked, it only helped keep stains at bay the whole time. It certainly didn't go above and beyond.
My buddy recommended Crest the last time we were at the store, and I finally listened to him and the internet.
The first day, I felt REALLY fresh and clean! I hate that the label said it showed results in one day, because my mind completely believes it. I know it hasn't changed anything yet, but it feels great pretending it did! (or shall I say believing...)
I took this the morning after my first Crest brushing. Day 1! We'll see where I am on day....last :) I'm SO excited to have white teeth again!

After a crew change and a ding for broken rail west of Lewiston, 281 claws upgrade on it's way out of the Wisconsin River valley past Longley's Landing.

I really like the look of those bleached negatives for landscapes, the positives would be more for portraits, some time.

NGC 281, commonly referred to as the Pacman Nebula, lies approximately 9000 light years away in the constellation Cassiopeia. The young central stars are being formed by the surrounding gas. You will note the prominent Bok Globules (dark clouds of dense cosmic dust and gas) in the central portion of the nebula. This nebula is estimated to be approximately 80 light years across.
Telescope: Vixen Visac VC200L
Focal ratio: f/6.4 (1280mm)
Camera: modified Canon 500D
Exposure info: 20 subs x 240 sec @ ISO 800 plus 34 subs x 300 sec @ ISO 1600. Total integration time 4h 10m. Dark, flats and bias frames also added.

1. Take 9 of your pieces and arrange them as shown, this already looks weaved, doesn't it?
2. Cut three pieces in half. Cuth through the white section in the middle.
3. Add the pieces to the wide sides of the outer pieces.
