Sunset at Reynisdrangar.

So, it was finally time for my long awaited trip to Iceland, that my amazing husband bought for me for my birthday.... best pressie ever!!!

Reynisdrangar was on my "must see" list of locations :) And we actually got to go there twice!!

Reynisdrangar are basalt sea stacks situated under the mountain Reynisfjall, near the village of Vík í Mýrdal, in southern Iceland.

Legend says that the stacks originated when two trolls dragged a three-masted ship to land unsuccessfully and when daylight broke they became needles of rock. The Needles can be seen clearly from the village of Vík and are 66 meters above sea level at their highest.

NGC 281 is an emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeea. surrounds the open cluster IC 1590. It is sometimes called the Pacman Nebula.

It is located 1.5 degrees east of the α Cassiopeiae; powerful instruments are needed to detect the nebula, which is certainly the most important object, since the cluster associated with it is formed by a few stars and dominated by a double star of eighth magnitude. The nebula appears sharply furrowed by a dark vein, which crosses it east-west; perpendicular to this one another is identified, facing south: thus a "T" is formed that deeply marks the whole object.

Also newly painted at Grantham is recently transferred 281, which has joined us from Luton.

The vehicle was treated to a repaint in-house, as well as a few new panels, and has come out looking dead smart compared to when it went in!

There was significant disruption to bus services around Grantham on Wednesday 2nd November, as an emergency road closure in one of the busiest parts of the town led to complete gridlock everywhere else - I ended up 70 minutes late at one point. With all the buses out of place, my inner magpie went for the shiniest of them all in the bus station, choosing 281 to get me round for the afternoon!

It's seen here on Fifth Avenue, working the 1400 1 from the bus station to Alma Park.

Does anyone else know how hard it is to take a photograph of yourself holding a plate of food? In one hand you're holding the food awkwardly as far as possible away from you to take a shot, and in the other hand you've got your camera. I was so shaky when I took this photo *sugar over load!!*

I baked these healthy, vegan, brownies. The secret ingredient (well not so secret anymore cos I'm about to tell you) is sweet potato. INSANE. This was crazy good. The first time I ever baked these they were insanely sweet and nobody in my family would touch them (blaming the 14 dates I put in the brownies!). This time I baked these brownies without dates or following a recipe because I like adding random stuff to my food, though sometimes it doesn't always work.

These brownies were made with buckwheat flour, raw cacao powder, sweet potato, almonds and sultanas. No refined sugars or gross stuff. Yay!

This is for the new challenge in the group My Face is My Canvas. Mine was an almost literal translation of the example image, but then again it's very different.

It took me 3 washes to get all that makeup off. phew.

I also look a bit creepy.

I just noticed this was in Explore and then dropped. Who knows. I don't understand Explore at all. That's 2 photos now that have been in it and then dropped later on.

How in the world does Explore work? Why would you pick a photo and then drop it?
