Randy Rook is a patient in Krug's study. It's been 281 days since his stroke, but therapy conducted with the Saebo device has produced a greater amount of movement in his hand.
I took a drive to Brownsville to drop off my nephew yesterday, I decided to go through 281 aka Military Highway. This highway runs along the Rio Grande River. It's a longer drive this way, but I see more than just a concrete barrier. Daniel, my nephew, snapped this shot where Mexico is just a few hundred yards from here.

LOOK. NOT MY MIDDLE FINGER. My step-dad's brother-in-law (like him and his wife are the only ones I like on that side of the family) sent me ten bags of lean treat dog treats. AND the ingrediants are actually pretty good. Bello and Britt love them. They smell horrible.
I feel like there are so many things that I'm forgetting lately. I've taken to leaving myself lots of notes.
Day 281.
Today I had a lunch meal planned with my youngest daughter, but she phoned at around midday to say that her boyfriend (whom I have never met - this was to meet him) was rather hungover from a barbeque they had had yesterday.
I was disappointed because I like to meet her mates, and this one is still on the 'secret/unofficial' level so no photos of them even on Facebook yet!
Anyway, I drove into Crewe after her call, got some photos and came home, red as a beetroot and head pounding from the heat, sat down and had a call asking where I was, and if I fancied meeting up with them after all.
So, I trekked out again, past the places I had just got back from and beyond, and had a late pub lunch with both of them. He seems really nice. I won't post any photos here for obvious reasons, and I'm also breaking my own unwritten rule about posting photos of her, however she doesn't seem to mind, and she's a great photographic subject.
