I met Helen together with Maren(#23). I really liked her haircolor. And her eyes really stand out against that color!
I really like the shot, but I could have composed her with the background a little bit better.

I was soaking wet actually. It had rained while I was swinging at the park a few feet away. The flash made it look bright outside, and also gave it that flare/coloring. I haven't slept in two days, I've had realizations too tall for the roof of my house. So by the time five this mornin' came around, I flew the coop and watched the sunrise. I made an unforgiving promise, that I will keep. Life is mine to have and to hold. Summer has such a strange way of letting me know my problems, and September helps me through them.
I met a girl while I was swinging and the rain had stopped, she was 10 and the best judge of character I have ever known. Her name was Amber and she loved dragons, she's unique and she told me so. I love how God brings people to me, so they can just talk about everything they want to, that normally is kept inside. Self-portrait (I am much less morose than I look in this picture. )

B-24M-1-FO (S/N 44-50443) from the 727th BS, 451st BG, named "LOW-AN-ROY" (16). This plane was scrapped at RFC Walnut Ridge on Dec. 20, 1945.
Taken from the corner of the south transept of the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist in Norwich, which is up the road from where I do live.
This is a slightly different picture of the cathedral from the others as it's not HDR at all and it's at night. I took this after doing the night time tower tour and so it's really an experiment in night photography and long exposures. For the HDR images I used a wide aperture because I didn't know what I was doing so I lost a lot of clarity. This time I got slightly narrower (f11) to get things much more crispy. It needed an 8 second exposure, but on the tripod that's fine.
I think I actually remembered to turn off image stabilisation as well, so the camera didn't try and do stuff it didn't need to, which is, apparently, what happens when using a tripod with image stabilisation turned on, which I'd always done before.
Duh.
