The weather went cold again, and have been super busy sorting and editing the 2000+ photos from the two trial weekends. Loving the photos I've gotten, can't wait to be done though!
Took this today during a break from editing. Kess is really loving the Jolly Ball now too. What I can't figure out- that's Pepper's butt in the background, not Kess'. Not sure where Kess' body fits in this photo... :-P
strobist info: large softbox camera left for fill, bare speedlight shot through deskfan for key and wall accent.
I know one isn't supposed to block the key light from the subjects face but I thought the fan blades as a gobo created fun and intriguing patterns and adds to the anxiety and antics.

Crashed in Switzerland on December 25,1944 after bombing the West Marshalling Yards in Innsbruck, Austria. (U.S. Air Force photo)
The plane was heavily damaged by flak during the mission and further damaged by the Swiss AAA gunners forcing the crew to bail out. The pilot, 1st Lt. Vincent Fagan, remained with the aircraft to guide it away from the village of Wuerenlingen. Three of the crew were killed during the bail-out and crash.

Maj. Jimmy Stewart talking with the crew of a B-24 named "Betty". The name "Betty" was on the starboard side (right) and "Betty Jane" on the port side. While on a mission to Misburg, Germany on Sept. 11,1944 she was damaged by flak and the command pilot, Maj. John Dowswell, ordered the crew to bail out but he opted to try and fly back to England. He made it back but six members of the crew became POW's while three of them evaded and made it back to Allied lines. (U.S. Air Force photo)

I am thankful for days when I see everything in focus. When my path seems clear and I am able to concentrate and foucs on whats important. Mainly my family. So often life is so hectic and stressfull that it seems like you can't keep up with it, you loose balance, things slip, you forget things, you get mad for no reason, you forget how beautiful life can be. Today I caught a break and just left it all behind. Grabbed my little munchkin and we went out exploring. Afterwards we came back home, had german pancakes and watched Pipi Longstocking... these are days I want to remember...
Sorry for the late upload. I spent all day yesterday at my father's house. He gave me the neatest new toy!! Its a Kenko Mirage multivision filter for my camera =D This is such a silly/horrible picture, but its the only one I took haha. I'm so looking forward to playing around with this filter some more.
*kiss* to my dad for the sweet new gear, yay! lol
