Finally got me a pure trials 24". Built it from the frame up with mostly spare parts form other bikes, so it's still a work in progress, but it's already SO much fun! Barely tips the scale at 20 lbs right now and eventually I'll get a better rear wheel and move to HS33 or V-brakes in the rear.

Mission 24 is finally getting off the ground again. Hurray. This week's mission is "Slipped" I don't think there's really any need to explain this one. :)

Any of my contacts that see this and aren't part of the group yet, come on over. I'm helping run stuff over there now so you got an in. :)

crazy day today.. first I accidentally bumped into the person who beat me half to death at the karate/crayfish party last weekend, and when I rush away from that person I see a truck that just smashes into my car... decided to return home, have an early lunch (before 11), and... just STAY home today!

Antonovs from Hungary were still rare in 1990. On July 27th two came to Groningen Eelde airport in the north-east of the Netherlands. They brought a group of athletes to the world championships for disabled, that were held in the area.

Both still wore the national insignia ( 'roundels') from the Warsaw Pact era.

An-24V 907 was last seen preserved in the museum at Szolnok air base. This great museum has closed :(

The Marugen 24 may have lost some of its luster from old times, but the building still has a kind of majesty to it. I love the lettering on the old signs hanging on each side of the structure, and the 源 kanji circled above.

I've always loved the idea of the woman who lived in a shoe. I have a feeling this won't be my last one of these.

RICHMOND, Virginia – A weeklong, large-scale gang enforcement operation, labeled “Operation Washout” wrapped up on May 24, resulting in 90 arrests of alleged violent offenders and fugitives.

The U.S. Marshals Service led multiple federal, state and local law enforcement agencies working around the clock May 20-24, concentrating their efforts primarily on known gang members wanted in the Richmond and Tri-Cities areas. Of the 90 arrests, 22 were documented gang members. Many other arrests were of suspected gang members or associates. Additional state and federal prosecutions are pending on those arrested where drug, gun or other crime evidence was seized during or subsequent to the person’s arrest.

The U.S. Marshals Service’s national fugitive initiative known as Operation Washout is deployed to local communities to bring immediate relief from violent, gang-related crime. The collaborative law enforcement effort is focused on targeting and arresting violent fugitives wanted for high-profile crimes such as homicide, felony assault and sexual assault, illegal possession of firearms, illegal drug distribution, robbery and arson.

This is the new version with levelled horizon and (mostly) removed sensor dust. Hope I didn't break any links... And it's frozen sea.
