Disney on Ice: 100 Years
Figured I'd do a follow up to the creepy mask picture - I made friends with the lead genie last week and he spotted me in the crowd taking pictures and posed for me in some down time...I thought he was just doing it for the children behind and next to me but he pointed at me and waited until I took the picture to move and go back into this routine
I LOVE how it came out haha
The Aladdin part is my favorite act in the show
The MB-21 battery pack version (uses 6 AA batteries) fires at 5.7 frames per second, has a socket to accept a mechanical cable release, has a socket to accept an electronic remote control, and has an extra shutter release that is useful when shooting in portrait orientation.

Bruce is Stranger #21 in my 100 Strangers Project. He is the Police Chief of Lavonia, Georgia. When one wants a suggestion for a good place to eat in a town who better to ask than the Chief of Police. Note the toothpick...ha ha!!! He sent us to a Cafe/Bakery and the food was good but the bread was fantastic as were the desserts!!! Thanks, Bruce, for your smiling face, wonderful recommendation, and for being my Stranger #21!!!

My 52 week project was supposed to be strictly self portraits, but I feel a little burned out, so now each week I'll upload something I have shot, not necessarily myself.
This week in studio lighting, we shot dancers. I had to use my speedlight since there weren't enough strobes for all of us to use, although at the end I got a hold of one (for this shot) and before the strobe wonked out from over use, I shot this.And this was the only photo I liked out of all of them.
(some more here, but more to come in other blog/flickr posts in the future. I didn't want to bombard you with 90+)
It was weird directing people to pose when I know nothing about dance, But by the end they ended up moving with the shutter click and it became a lot easier.
They are all so amazing.
I could of did better, I could of did better.
I only brought my 50mm lens!!! So It was REDICULOUS to try to fit in all their moves and such in a frame without cutting out parts, it was a challenge. And focusing was wack with the gross lighting in the building.
I want to redo this shoot, But I can't for now.
+ Campus isn't a good enough atmosphere.

This was my last week of being a teenager.
I went to this old town and I want to live there.
I don't know what I am doing.
I wrote a lot.
That's all.
This is the new Forever 21. The 19,000 square foot store is the first in Japan for this chain. The lines have been crazy--here is a nice article with more info about it.

Week 21 'Something Small'
Glad the title wasn't 'macro' as this is just a close up (or as close as I could get with the dog tugging on the end of the lead) and then a bit of cropping.
This is a 2005 International 4300 housed at Roberts Park Fire District. Known as Decon 21. This is picture 2 of 3 pictures of Decon 21 This truck is kept at station 2 with pickup truck(321) Roberts Park Photo.
A snap of the path we scrambled up to the peak of Ben Lawers.
Reaching this peak was the toughest climb ive ever done.
