The water jets span more than 1000 feet and can shoot up to 250 feet in the air while seeming to dance to choreographed lights and romantic classical music. It is a spectacular sight and one worth taking the time to view while strolling along the boulevard. Be sure to bring a camera as this is one of Vegas's best attractions; not to mention, it is also free! Every 30 minutes until 7p, after which shows are every 15 minutes.
The United States Army Ranger Association (USARA) had it's Annual Ranger Muster (ARM) in Las Vegas this year. I managed to make it out there for 2 days.
As usual, War Stories were told, Comeraderie was renewed, along with some new and old friends being met and made.
And I was finally able to put a lot of faces with names!

明池森林遊樂區為藏身於北橫公路旁的山林間高山湖泊，海拔約1150至1700公尺之間北橫公路最高點，四面環山，林木蓊鬱，藍天白雲及雲霧繚繞的景觀在不同時段輪替演出，蕨園、靜石園等山林及庭園景觀，及詩意般山間景色，極富自然情趣，有「北橫明珠」美稱。
明池清麗雅致的山間美景，二公頃的湖面上綠頭鴨及水鴨、錦鯉魚群、黑天鵝悠悠其中，流露著沈靜閒適的氣息。
蕨園為面積二公頃的柳杉造林地，因為林下長滿各種不同類別的附生性及地生性蕨類，園方搭建了兩條木棧步道，在不對地面環境產生過多干擾的情形下，可就近觀察蕨類生態，並設有林間教室，為一舒適優美的自然教學場所。
