Today was its homecoming day, with it spending just over 6 hours retracing some routes it will have operated in GCT days most prior to it being converted to an open top in 1994.

It is working 17 from Cleethorpes Pier to Fitties Camp.

Looking very good on its 39 years. An old friend I used to travel on in my youth.

Officially a Leyland FE30AGR, they were badged as Daimlers when they arrived at GCT back in early 1977.

After several years spent at various locations in the East Midlands, Stagecoach's legendary open-top Leyland Fleetline 15513 (MBE 613R) returned to its spiritual home of Grimsby-Cleethorpes for 2014. On 26 August that year, it prepares to leave Cleethorpes for the Thorpe Park holiday village a short way along the coast.

A surprise visitor to Retford Bus Station on 24/08/2006 was Stagecoach's open top Roe bodied Leyland Fleetline MBE613R. This bus was new to Grimsby Cleethorpes Transport in January 1977 as fleet number 113. It was inherited into the stagecoach fleet when they took over Grimsby Cleethorpes, and currently carries fleet number 15513. It's survival has no doubt been prolonged by the fact that it is an open top vehicle, as far as i'm aware it is still in the Stagecoach heritage fleet and is currently based at Chesterfield.

Taking part in the Trans-Lancs Rally at Heaton Park, Manchester on 2 September 2007 was Stagecoach East Midlands 15513 (MBE613R), a Leyland Fleetline with Roe 74 seat dual doorway bodywork that had been converted to an open-top bus. It had been new to Grimsby Cleethorpes Transport in January 1977 numbered 113 and passed to Stagecoach in 1993 when it acquired the Grimsby Cleethorpes business.
