My navigation let me down again on the way back to Belfast and I ended up at Haggardstown Bridge south of Dundalk, where 113 "Belfast & Co Down" was sighted working wrong line with 09.00 Belfast Central - Dublin Connolly.

Dude. The most important part of this picture is the lamp. Because our power came back on at 9:30 this morning, then went back off again at 5:30. GAH! After we all retreated to our rooms to cry in privacy, we then regrouped and decided we'd just bite the bullet and restart the generator. We were staring down the barrel of another night of cooking on the camp stove, so we kicked off the evening's food prep with the frosting for Boomer's birthday cake (which we'd baked during those blessed hours of electricity). That called for melting a pound of milk chocolate over the camp stove, then taking all the frosting components and the hand mixer down to the basement behind the furnace where our one generator-powered outlet was. Once the frosting was done we noticed the street light down the block was back on. Could it be... after three excruciating hours... that the power was back on? YES! This spaghetti, which was going to have to be cooked on the camp stove, was instead fabulously cooked on the electric stove top. WOOOOOOO!!!!! And photographed by the light of the sun lamp! WOOOOOOOO!!!!

A lovely Christmas card from across "the pond" from a member of my family :)
We went to the Pokemon Center in Tokyo to grab some cool stuff. James reserved seats at the Pokemon Cafe for us and everything was expensive af. James and Ronnie got a funny hat for having their birthdays in February, James also got lucky and pulled a secret Mew card from the Cafe's free card roulette. Apparently you get a Pokemon show when you eat at the cafe, I was surprised. All of a sudden, a gargantuan Eevee came outta nowhere and started wiggling his ass in our faces. I think that's why the food was expensive. We went to Tokyo Skytree afterwards, the view was insane.
