113_3362 Uldale

This fingerpost is on the way from The Castle Inn to Uldale on the northern flanks of the Lake District. Mid afternoon last Sunday and it caught the light intensely. (1) The light and the notion of the fingerpost were for me intensely moving (such that we stopped to take the photos). From such a fleeting moment I can frequently feel in the presence of God, the numinous. This is not about doctrine, it is more about becoming a tuning fork whereby the everyday is divine.
