Bleh! Remember last week I mentioned driving around to get some random landscape shots? I drove for about three hours, and this was all I could come up with.
I was looking for some rolling hills that would make for great layers.. But things are so flat around Greater Toronto Area!!!!

02.05.2025 - Tytułowe "Żelazko" za kilkaset metrów zakończy bieg pociągu Os 28426 relacji Tábor - Bechyně, pokonując ciekawy obiekt inżynieryjny jakim jest most drogowo-kolejowy nad rzeką Lužnice. Imponująca konstrukcja łukowa, wysoka na 50 metrów względem lustra wody nazywana jest potocznie „Bechyńską Tęczą”. Most nie jest w pełni zamykany na czas przejazdu pociągu - przetacza się on po nim z prędkością 10 km/h, samochody po ustąpieniu pierwszeństwa mogą jechać za nim w kierunku miasta. W drodze powrotnej gdy skład jedzie "na czołówkę" względem pasa ruchu na którym znajduje się torowisko, ruch samochodów zatrzymywany jest sygnalizacją świetlną. Osobiście nie spotkałem się dotąd z takim rozwiązaniem współdzielącym ruch obu typów pojazdów.
CP 113's horn breaks the breaks cool morning air as it starts its cross country journey and approaches the quaint town of Tichborne this morning.
WDE2916 LV24VPD at St Johns Wood working route 113 towards Marble Arch.
Been quite ages since I last photographed this route and Wright electrics have since replaced the Evosetis, having gone to various Metroline garages. The 113s batch only just entered service this year which includes this one.

We had a fantastic day today cycling from Noordwijk on the coast to the amazing Keukenhof gardens in Lisse. Perfect spring weather and millions of brightly coloured tulips. Needless to say, I took quite a few pics today! :)

Im Jahr 2003 pendelte noch ein NoHAB-Triebwagen der CP Baureihe 100 (Baujahr 1948) zwischen dem Abzweigbahnhof Torres das Vargens und dem Grenzbahnhof Marvão-Beirã. Treibwagen 113 erreichte am 23.04.2003 als R 5512 nach Torres das Vargens den Haltepunkt Cunheira vor bedrohlicher Wolkenkulisse. Heute sind die Triebwagen aus dem planmäßigen Verkehr verschwunden und der Betrieb auf der einst internationalen Strecke ist auf portugiesischer Seite eingestellt. Zum damaligen Zeitpunkt gab es hier nicht nur grenzüberschreitenden Güterverkehr, sondern auch der Nachtzug "Lusitania" Lissabon - Madrid fuhr täglich über den Grenzübergang Marvão-Beirã / Valencia de Alcántara.
In the year 2003 a CP railcar class 100 (built by NoHAB in 1948) shuttled between Torres das Vargens and the border station Marvão-Beirã. At april 23th 2003 railcar 113 arrived as R 5512 to Torres das Vargens at Cunheira in front of threatening clouds. At this time there were still regular freight trains and nighttrain service "Lusitania" Lisbon - Madrid across the border Marvão-Beirã / Valencia de Alcántara between Portugal and Spain. Today there are no trains on this line in Portugal and the NoHAB railcars are out of regular use for years.
