Churchward 2-8-0 2857 is 100 years old this year and is seen here approaching the platform at Eardington with the 08:15 service from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth during the SVR Autumn Gala.
Lucky to find 100 :-) Our garden has been sparse but we are seeing more Callistemon flowers now. It has been a colourful spring in Australia.

12/100 for 100x: The 2020 Edition, photos taken in National Trust properties.
The beautiful hand made stained glass window in the Bothy at Standen house, near East Grinstead. It was designed in the arts and crafts style by Will Shannon for the National Trust.
Durante una temporada, el mítico Correo de la línea de La Robla, se realizaba los domingos con locomotora y coches, e incluso tenía un pequeño servicio de bar. Todo un lujo.
Bien cuidados, este tipo de servicios tendrían futuro, pero claro, en la mayoría de los casos no hay la más mínima voluntad de trabajar por ellos, y es preferible dejar que el tren se muera poco a poco.
Junto a la laguna de Tarilonte, en una fría tarde de enero de 2009 el Correo León-Bilbao discurre a su ritmo con tres coches remolcado por una bicabina.

Wow, I made it to day 100 yipee! I know it's not even a third of the way, but so far, so good. I hope I can keep it up for the remaining 265 :)
I have been thinking of doing some themed weeks for a while, and what better place to start that at the day 100 milestone.
Please accept my Red picture as the start of colour week :)
In other news, I think I lost my glasses today :(

As it snows again today I had to post one of my favorite snowy sequences when they were on a perch. Shot out of my car window now being lazy but it works as a great hide
Over Christmas I took some time to scan a bunch of old photos of mine. So for post 100 here is one from a trip to Europe I took some years ago. This one is from lovely Vondelpark in Amsterdam. Really pretty light that day.

I had the opportunity a couple of week's ago to catch up with Colin, a good friend I made through participating in the project.
We spent most of our time chatting and drinking a few beers but before this we were walking through Soho and I met Magda. Magda was wearing an awesome pink top and skirt , boots and carrying an organ umbrella. I had to stop her and make a picture as she walked down the road for her style alone and before you know it I was into my usual glasses off, street portrait territory.
Magda lives in London although she is originally from Poland.
It was quite funny as London Fashion Week was on and although I do not think Magda was part of LFW, there were lots of photographers roaming the streets nearby so when I finished making my picture another photographer had spied what was going on and ventured up the street to vulture in on the shot!
I'll post the full length outfit shot tomorrow.

Ahoy Mateys! It be time to set sail on the Briny Blue in this here vessel. There'll be no yellow-bellied squiffies and sprogs allowed upon this here fine sailin' ship. As me old friend Pirate Pete says, To sail on this here ship

No this is not my Grandmother :) I don't even know her name and first she didn't wanted me to take her photo but her dauther convinced her and than she told me that she was a model so many years ago.

Ave a cargo del 100-011 procedente de Madrid-Puerta de Atocha y con destino en Castelló de la Plana a su paso por las proximidades de Roca.
Hace más de un año se inauguró el primer servicio “AVE” entre Valencia y Castellón por medio de la implantación del tercer hilo para la utilización del ancho internacional, cosa que se hizo muy curiosa al ver una de estas unidades por vías en las que habitualmente circulan trenes de Cercanías entre otros.
En estos servicios se esperaron trenes como el 100-011 que acabaron por tocarles bajar y fue cazado por diversos aficionados pocas semanas de la inauguración. En este caso lo vemos después de pasar el pueblo de Roca con Albuixech al fondo.
Agradecimientos a las personas que hicieron posible la foto.
Just 100mm more of range and this photo would have been so much better. Saw a few Willow Warblers in there and the backgrounds are amazing but the birds were a little away for the range of my lens and getting closer was out of the question due to location restrictions. End up having to make a much bigger crop than I like but that's fine because I really like the photo and the spot.
