This is the top of the rose arbour in the White Garden at Sissinghurst Castle in Kent. For the first time ever I was the only person in this part of the gardens, I don't think people have realised that they now open throughout the winter at the weekends, or perhaps they had more sense not to visit on a dark grey, cold and dismal day.

There are days when abstracts are the only thing that seems real to me.

In a tub on my patio - crocus flowers with pink cyclamen in the background.

I went out for a drive this afternoon just north of Prince George and ran into this pair...

Le châtaignier et ses bogues !

On the hunt for some Halloween themed photos, I stopped into a home improvement fair. I know... doesn't sound like there could be a connection, but there was. They had promised a dogs-in-costume parade and lots of decorations.

While waiting for the parade, I wandered about being accosted by roof renewal services, electrical installers, kitchen cabinets sellers and one fellow who would come to your home and wash out your big, trash bins using a gizmo installed in the back of his car.

But the best find of the day was meeting Joshlyn at her Sun, Moon and Beads tent.

Joshlyn designs and handcrafts lovely pieces of jewelry, many made by twisting copper and aluminum wires, mixed in with gemstones and beads, into beautiful spirals and helices (you can view them at sunmoonandbeads.com).

Although her jewelry drew me in, it was Joshlyn's warm, understated approach that had me asking her to be my 31st "Stranger."

We chatted a bit and I quickly knew she was someone I would like as a friend.

Number 63 for 100 Flowers 2020

"This is an extremely popular variety with an outstanding perfume and flowers of the highest quality. The flowers open from well formed buds, revealing petals that are white blushed with light cream apricot which deepens towards the flower centre giving a very classical look.Growth is strong with mid green leaves and stems, an excellent all round variety, which repeat flowers well."

CC week 22 portrait vs landscape

I tried both versions of this plant against a wall. I don't know which is better - the landscape version has more flowers so is more colourful, but I think the portrait version is a slightly better composition.

He is less than a day old.....

Some say very young babies don't smile, that it is the result of feeding and wind that makes them look like they are smiling. Well, I beg to differ, this is definately a smile because as you can see he is being fed by an NG tube straight into his little tummy.

Wonder what he is smiling about...perhaps he knew he was going to be alright :)

🐬🔥💯 I love photography so much that I could produce at least 12 high quality albums a year. But I have to stop myself to embrace and experience every artistic phase. Creativity grows when you have the patience to explore all colors of your soul. This photo is from a photo album I've produced a few months ago, but didn't even develop till now. I love my photography, but sometimes I wish I could give myself more time to enjoy the work I've produced. I just rush to the next remix of life I can create. I hope you enjoyed the classics I posted. But my eye, heart and soul is burning 🔥 for 3 weeks of Japan, Hong Kong and Singapur. Any tips? 🚣🌴☀️PS: "The Best Autofocus in the world" out now on www.eyeheartandsoul.com/magazine/the-best-autofocus-most-...

Still surviving on my cape verde shots although it seems in the distant past as we move into March.

100 Sea and Sky

Paphiopedilum, from my garden. I have 2 of the same species but their shapes are just different enough to be interesting in their own right. This one seems to have an Elvis hairdo! Taken in afternoon light on my windowsill.
