I took a long drive this morning to Upstate NY to catch some autumn foliage and shoot Taughannock Falls. I sort of got a tiny bit of both, but neither at full strength. I was about a week too early for the foliage and the falls has been reduced to a trickle as a result of severe drought.
Even so, the place is still special and I wasn't disappointed. I think the combination of overcast skies and wet surfaces creates an interesting mood.
FYI - In its splendor, Taughannock falls is a 215-foot waterfall that has the highest single-drop waterfall east of the Rocky Mountains.

Ni la hora del dÃa, ni la luz eran las más adecuadas, pero he querido ponerla por la belleza del lugar, a mi me pareció espectacular. El rÃo también muy bajo de agua.
El Meandro Melero es una de esas sorpresas imprescindibles que guarda la comarca cacereña de Las Hurdes.
El capricho de la naturaleza ha querido que el rÃo Alagón forme en el mismo lÃmite de las provincias de Salamanca y Cáceres una pronunciada curva que vista desde un punto más alto permite apreciar una de las imágenes más bellas que se pueden obtener en la PenÃnsula Ibérica.
Un impresionante meandro acompañado al fondo por el siempre espectacular paisaje del Parque Natural de Las Batuecas-Sierra de Francia.
El Melero del Alagón ofrece una estampa armónica y coloristadesde el mirador de La Antigua, que se encuentra a poco más de dos kilómetros de RÃomalo de Abajo. Se trata del lugar ideal para captar la grandeza de la estilosa curva que realiza el rÃo.

El Monte Perdido (3348m) debe su nombre a una traducción literal del francés: Mont Perdu, porque los franceses conocÃan su existencia, pero a simple vista no se divisaba desde sus valles, estaba oculto por otras montañas, perdido... Está en una zona preciosa del Pirineo, el valle de Ordesa, rodeado de montañas de tres mil metros. Un placer contemplarlo desde abajo, por ejemplo desde la célebre cascada "Cola de Caballo" (donde está tomada la foto) y , por supuesto, ascender a su cima.
Una nocturna del faro de Cudillero, uno de los pueblos pesqueros mas bonitos de Asturias, si no el mas bonito. Esta dentro de la lista de los 40 pueblos mas bonitos de España, asà que a quienes no lo conocéis aun os lo recomiendo.
