A stitched, panoramic, long exposure, landscape image of Bow Fiddle Rock near Portknockie in Morayshire, Scotland.
I have taken many images of Bow Fiddle but for some time now, I have been meaning to do a panorama of the Bow. All too often, the average image of it does not convey the size of the rock sufficiently. A wide angle lens gets the whole scene but always makes it too small in the image. This image was to finally address this so it could be seen for the size it actually is. Glad I finally did it. :-)
Tarbert, Loch Fyne. Everytime I go to Tarbert the reflections are stunning, I'm surprised every time I go, at just how good the reflections are.

On the top corner of Ireland just 12 miles from The Mull of Kintyre which is quite visible this is the view "down the way" the south coast towards Cushendall beyond there the rest of the nine Glen's, Larne and of course eventually Belfast. Near Cushendall is Glenariff with a beautiful waterfall, sadly I never went there. But that just gives me anther excuse to go back! www.glensumnerphotography.com

Yesterday at the "Kleine Kyll" near Manderscheid/Volcanic Eifel.
While the snow lay in the shadowy valley, he had melted over it on the sun-lit trees. This resulted in a gold-colored reflection of the warm winter light on the water surface.
Gestern an der Kleinen Kyll bei Manderscheid/Vulkaneifel.
Während im schattigen Tal der Schnee liegen blieb, war er darüber auf den von der Sonne beschienenen Bäumen geschmolzen. So ergab sich eine goldfarbene Spiegelung des warmen Winterlichts auf der Wasserfläche.

Had to pull over on the way back from my son's house and take this from a layby. Fog rising from the countryside in Staffordshire with the most beautiful sunset, the autumn colours just showing through. NOT textured - honestly ! This is how it was. Two photos stitched together.

For this shot, I wedged the stem of a fallen maple leaf into a ventilation grate in a remote corner of Chicago's Millennium Park. I then laid down on the grate and snapped away into the backlight with my telephoto. I was glad the grate didn't collapse since beneath it was an underground railroad yard with moving trains :)
