Am letzten Herbsttags Abends wo noch die letzten Sonnenstrahlen schienen, mitten im Ruhrgebiet Bochum Hordel machte ich dieses wunderschöne Herbstbild, als ich von meinen Herbstspaziergang zurückkehrte. Während in Bayern sehr viel Natur zerstört wird, werden im Ruhrgebiet sehr viel Bäume gepflanzt, und es entstehen sehr viele Natur-Wohlfühl-Oasen. Viel Spaß beim Betrachten.
On the last autumn evening, when the last rays of the sun were shining, in the middle of the Ruhr district of Bochum Hordel I made this beautiful autumn picture when I returned from my autumn walk. While a lot of nature is destroyed in Bavaria, a lot of trees are planted in the Ruhr area, and many natural oasis of well-being are created. Have fun viewing.

Der Alte Apfelgarten befindet sich direkt am Spazierweg zwischen dem Plöner Schlossgebiet und der Prinzeninsel. Auf dem weitläufigen Grundstück stehen mehr als einhundert Apfelbäume, die 45 verschiedenen Apfelsorten zuzuordnen sind.
Ein hübsches Teehaus auf einer kleinen Anhöhe im Gelände lädt zum Verweilen ein und beeindruckt mit einem traumhaften Blick auf den See, das Schloss und die Stadt.

After a full fortnight with thunderstorms and heavy rain the weather calmed down today. Time to go out fishing. Unfortunately the pikes did not know about the weather change so I changed from fishing rod to camera after a few hours.
A stitched, panoramic, long exposure, landscape image of Bow Fiddle Rock near Portknockie in Morayshire, Scotland.
I have taken many images of Bow Fiddle but for some time now, I have been meaning to do a panorama of the Bow. All too often, the average image of it does not convey the size of the rock sufficiently. A wide angle lens gets the whole scene but always makes it too small in the image. This image was to finally address this so it could be seen for the size it actually is. Glad I finally did it. :-)

During snowshoe hiking at the Schauinsland mountain (Black Forest) I visited again my beloved beech trees.
Snowshoe hiking is the perfect way to keep one from sinking into the snow. Optimal for taking photogaphs away from pistes and
if there is no possibility for Nordic Skiing.

Während einer Schneeschuh-Wanderung habe ich wieder einmal meine geliebten Windbuchen auf dem Schauinsland-Gipfel besucht.
Wandern auf Schneeschuhen ist ideal für's Fotografieren abseits der Pisten und wenn keine Langlauf-Loipen vorhanden sind.
Sie schützen vor Einsinken in tiefen Schnee - es ist so mühseleig, verschneite steilere Pfade ohne Schneeschuhe zu gehen. Ich möchte sie nicht mehr missen.

Here's my accommodations for the evening. Take a good look at this tent because it's the last time you will see it shot in the mountains. In an effort to reduce my overall carry weight I am going to retire this 3-Person 3 season tent that weighs just under 6 Lbs. in order to get my overall weight down to 65 lbs with my camera gear means that a new 1-Person tent is the next goodie on my wish list. (maybe I should leave the 1 million candlepower flashlight behind too).
When I woke up early to shoot the sunrise on monday morning it was covered in frost.
