Here's my accommodations for the evening. Take a good look at this tent because it's the last time you will see it shot in the mountains. In an effort to reduce my overall carry weight I am going to retire this 3-Person 3 season tent that weighs just under 6 Lbs. in order to get my overall weight down to 65 lbs with my camera gear means that a new 1-Person tent is the next goodie on my wish list. (maybe I should leave the 1 million candlepower flashlight behind too).
When I woke up early to shoot the sunrise on monday morning it was covered in frost.

Inaguro nueva temporada con una increible serie que refleja lo que la luz es capaz de hacer en un dÃa de densa niebla, en lo profundo de un bosque gallego ...... he seleccionado ocho imágenes de las docenas de fotos hechas entre la sorpresa y el disfrute que nos deparó este paseo por los montes de Tomiño buscando setas, un domingo cualquiera de primeros de Diciembre.

It's not the most majestic waterfall, but it's the best there is in the area. Spring rains caused the water volume to increase dramatically.

Situé aux portes des Gorges du Verdon, au dessus du superbe Lac de Sainte Croix, Aiguines est un petit village qui jouit d'une situation privilégiée blotti au coeur d'une nature grandiose et sauvage où des vues spectaculaires le lac de Lac de Sainte Croix ainsi que sur le canyon du Verdon

Das kleine provenzalische Dorf Aiguines hat einen Logenplatz an einem Berghang oberhalb des Lac de Sainte-Croix und bietet eine wunderbare Aussicht über den See und das dahinter beginnende Plateau de Valensole.Oberhalb von Aiguines kann man die kleine romanische Kapelle Saint-Pierre besichtigen, von hier hat man auch den schönsten Ausblick über den Lac de Sainte-Croix. In Aiguines beginnt auch die südliche Straße entlang der Verdonschlucht.
Nebenbei: Der Lac de Ste. Croix ist der größte Trinkwasserspeicher der Provence.

A stitched, panoramic, long exposure, landscape image of Bow Fiddle Rock near Portknockie in Morayshire, Scotland.
I have taken many images of Bow Fiddle but for some time now, I have been meaning to do a panorama of the Bow. All too often, the average image of it does not convey the size of the rock sufficiently. A wide angle lens gets the whole scene but always makes it too small in the image. This image was to finally address this so it could be seen for the size it actually is. Glad I finally did it. :-)

Whitetail buck as seen in the backyard. A young guy with just four points but pretty good looking for around here. I took one more step and he was gone.
Die sogenannte Reichsburg Cochem letzte Woche im Herbstlicht bei heftigem Wind.
Seit gestern bin ich noch mehr als bislang dafür, dass der Name "Reichs" Burg geändert werden müsste.

A panorama from the summit of Slieve Bearnagh on The Dawn of 2017! I try to break the New Year in in style somewhere High and majestic. I think this fits the bill! It was glorious seeing the golden light etch its way across the land way down below me..

For this shot, I wedged the stem of a fallen maple leaf into a ventilation grate in a remote corner of Chicago's Millennium Park. I then laid down on the grate and snapped away into the backlight with my telephoto. I was glad the grate didn't collapse since beneath it was an underground railroad yard with moving trains :)

Canadian National train No. 310 departs Swan Landing, Alberta, along Brule Lake on the afternoon of July 7, 2014. CN EMD SD75I No. 5756 leads a pair of GE C44-9Ws (2577 and 2599) and EMD SD70M-2 No. 8883 through this scenic setting just east of Jasper National Park.
This spot Rocky Hollow in Turkey Run State Park features a nice little waterfall. The "bowl" was formed by "glacial erratics" from clear up in Canada. (see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glacial_erratic ). These became trapped and erroded the rock, forming a bowl-like formation which gave this place its name - Punch Bowl.

Ich habe den Mond fotografiert. Mir ist jedoch aufgefallen, das es sehr viele Fotos über dieses Thema gibt. Also habe ich mich daran gesetzt dieses Bild zu bearbeiten.
Den Mond habe ich mit der Nikon D80 und einem Tele 70-300 fotografiert.
