This daybreak shot of Lake Cascade was taken on same day as yesterday's post. Often the mornings after a long rain are ideal for landscapes. Glad I was out this morning.

Diese süße kleine Maus hab ich vor ein paar Jahren in einem Dorf in meiner Nähe fotografiert. Sie traute sich nicht so ganz aus der Scheune zu ihren Geschwistern. Erst nach einer Zeit nachdem sie sich an uns gewöhnt hatte kam sie auch dazu.
This sweet little mouse I have photographed in a village close to me a few years ago. They dared not quite out of the barn with their siblings. Only after a time after she had become accustomed to us, she came also.

Just being upfront on this one....to get the image I saw in my mind, I had to remove a few small branches that were in the water and add some blur to the water in post. This was the best lone tree in the water close to our campsite on Capers...and it's the same seen in an earlier image I posted as well. It was high tide on our first morning...so there wasn't much chance to get down in the surf without getting pounded by waves. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

the first try of a long exposure at night with a vintage prime lens. the lens isn´t as sharp as it could and should be. the focussing is quite difficult with it. but the colours were great however.

I seem to have a love / hate relationship with Sandsend. Whenever I'm there I seem to miss the best light and that was certainly the case for this shot. On top of that everyone seems to having building work done so finding a composition without scafolding in in it was tricky. With nothing in the way of sidelight and no colour in the sky I opted for this classic shot looking through the arch, up Sandsend Beck towards the cottages. I was hoping some cootage lights would come on the make for a more enticing blue hour shot, but it didnt happen. Work in progress so I will revisit...

I think this guy was... He was systematically eating his way down each and every branch of this crab apple tree on a late autumn day. I watched for quite some time and this guy was really packing it away...getting ready for winter, I guess.
