Der Alte Apfelgarten befindet sich direkt am Spazierweg zwischen dem Plöner Schlossgebiet und der Prinzeninsel. Auf dem weitläufigen Grundstück stehen mehr als einhundert Apfelbäume, die 45 verschiedenen Apfelsorten zuzuordnen sind.
Ein hübsches Teehaus auf einer kleinen Anhöhe im Gelände lädt zum Verweilen ein und beeindruckt mit einem traumhaften Blick auf den See, das Schloss und die Stadt.

Inaguro nueva temporada con una increible serie que refleja lo que la luz es capaz de hacer en un dÃa de densa niebla, en lo profundo de un bosque gallego ...... he seleccionado ocho imágenes de las docenas de fotos hechas entre la sorpresa y el disfrute que nos deparó este paseo por los montes de Tomiño buscando setas, un domingo cualquiera de primeros de Diciembre.
Esto es lo que se llama Efecto Tyndall.......

A stitched, panoramic, long exposure, landscape image of Bow Fiddle Rock near Portknockie in Morayshire, Scotland.
I have taken many images of Bow Fiddle but for some time now, I have been meaning to do a panorama of the Bow. All too often, the average image of it does not convey the size of the rock sufficiently. A wide angle lens gets the whole scene but always makes it too small in the image. This image was to finally address this so it could be seen for the size it actually is. Glad I finally did it. :-)

Here's my accommodations for the evening. Take a good look at this tent because it's the last time you will see it shot in the mountains. In an effort to reduce my overall carry weight I am going to retire this 3-Person 3 season tent that weighs just under 6 Lbs. in order to get my overall weight down to 65 lbs with my camera gear means that a new 1-Person tent is the next goodie on my wish list. (maybe I should leave the 1 million candlepower flashlight behind too).
When I woke up early to shoot the sunrise on monday morning it was covered in frost.

It's not the most majestic waterfall, but it's the best there is in the area. Spring rains caused the water volume to increase dramatically.

Para mis amigos Jose y Conchi por el dÃa tan bonito que pasamos recorriendo estos campos de lavanda, Volvimos impregnados de su aroma.
Hay un lugar en el que la geologÃa juega a las contradicciones, hay una playa pero no da al mar y hay una cueva que sà desemboca en el mar.
La cueva que da nombre a la playa, se nos aparece como una humilde entrada en la ladera que une la playa con la costa por el Este. Nada hace presagiar que a pocos metros de la entrada una sinfonÃa de colores aparecerá ante nuestros ojos.
La cueva se abre al mar, generalmente encrespado, como corresponde a un acantilado que da al mar Cantábrico. La desembocadura de la cueva es una sala en la que las formaciones geológicas tÃpicas del carst, a causa de las algas microscópicas y de las sustancias minerales, aparecen teñidas de colores inimaginables entre los que predominan el verde, el rojo, el amarillo

Glissant sur le marais, s'infiltrant par petites touches entre chaque brin d'herbe, déposant lentement un voile couleur ébène sur le paysage dont seuls les contours s'offrent encore au regard, la nuit, silencieusement et tout en douceur enrobe l'eau, les plantes et les animaux qui habitent les lieux.
Der Antornosee ist ein idyllischer See auf 1866 m ü. M., eingebettet zwischen grünen, jahrhundertealten Wälder und erhabenen Bergen. Den See, der zu einem wichtigen Naturgebiet gehört, erreicht man über die Straße, die von Misurina zu den Drei Zinnen führt.

This spot Rocky Hollow in Turkey Run State Park features a nice little waterfall. The "bowl" was formed by "glacial erratics" from clear up in Canada. (see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glacial_erratic ). These became trapped and erroded the rock, forming a bowl-like formation which gave this place its name - Punch Bowl.

The DeKalb County Courthouse is located in the county seat of DeKalb County, Illinois, U.S.A., the city of Sycamore. The Classical Revival structure sits on a square facing Illinois Route 64 as it passes through the city. The current courthouse was constructed in 1905 amid controversy over where the courthouse and thus, ultimately, the county seat would be located.[3] The current building is the third structure to bear the name "DeKalb County Courthouse." DeKalb County's Courthouse still serves as the county's primary judicial center and is a contributing property to the Sycamore Historic District.
