Not sure which I like better this one or How many arms? which ended up being my photo for the day in 365 just cause it was a bit more interesting.

These have to be the most original pictures I have ever thought to take. I just stood up from a bath and happened to see part of me was missing in the two mirrors and ran for my camera. No PS work of any kind done to either of these.

I seem to becoming more regular at missing days and not having any idea how I managed to. No point lying about it though.

poor widdle kitty... let's hope putting it online will help!

The owner must have spent a fortune printing these out. This is the third round he has sent!

So please, if you live around the Chadstone area, and if you do happen to see this little kitty, do let the owner know.

I was in this supermarket, busy using my cameraphone. Of course, in a discreet way. My friend was making his purchases. On the way out I saw this little girl and I focused on her. She immediately grasped that she was being photographed. I said, 'Smart kid!' and showed her mother the photo. Her mother was pleased that her daughter came out so well, even with a shaven head!

these posters have been plastered everywhere in the last week. i thought i'd try to help out by posting a shot on flickr.

no visit to Elsie and Abby this week. Abby is working in Oman with the stilt walkers and Elsie is visiting her other Gran. This picture was taken last week . . .

On a hilltop in "Hawaii" as I gaze across the bay

At the island of "Maui", standing in the day

Oh my lovely Margarita serving cool Hînano beer

I'll be a fool in paradise, I'm a fool out here.

"Aloha", can you stand the heat?

bouncing in bare feet

when you laugh at me

"Aloha", say I....I'm in ecstasy.

Oh, your name is Margarita, the salt upon your lips

The lemon and tequila, the flavor of your kiss

All the magic and the beauty, the humor of these isles

Captured like a goldfish, the sparkle of your smile.

Margarita, Margarita, please dance with me tonight

We would dance together, where stars shine so bright

Margarita, Margarita, I come from far away

Let's go take a swim down in Matawai Bay...

We go in the dark and we don't need a spear.

Gene & I have both been really sick for a while now. Last night we started feeling a bit better and today we are lots better. This stuff must be world-wide from what I'm hearing and it's awful. If you haven't caught it stay inside and hide. You don't want it! It's respiratory and I'd swear it's the flu without the fever and nausea.

My Florida friends... this illness kept us home. Thank goodness there's trip insurance or we'd really be sick.

The Hong Kong Police Force | HKP

Police Vehicles, Police Officers, Marine Police, Traffic Police, Police Stations. All Districts, Hong Kong

Special Units & Divisions include Counter Terrorism, Police Tactical Unit (PTU), National Security Bureau, Diplomatic Protection & Security, Commercial Crime, CID, Dog Unit, Wanted & Missing Persons, Cyber Security & Technology Crime Bureau, Organised Crime and Triad Bureau, Narcotics Bureau, Criminal Intelligence, The Bomb Squad (EOD), Public Relations, Criminal Records, Police Training College and the Auxiliary Police etc.

All relevant and extensive information about the Hong Kong Police Force is available on their website

www.police.gov.hk/ppp_en/

It is very comprehensive, the Hong Kong Police Force has a highly organised structure.

All Hong Kong Police Vehicles use the AM licence plate ie 2 digits and up to 4 numbers | Police vehicles have different colours, normal Police vehicles are white with red and blue stripes, the Police Traffic Division vehicles are white with yellow and blue checkerboard design.

Amazingly the Police Force have their own superstitions as well, the majority of the licence plates on Police Vehicles have lucky number combinations involving the numbers 6,8, and 9 ! Basically 6 means easy life, 8 means wealth and 9 means long life - this is very much Hong Kong Culture. The Police also use unmarked vehicles extensively which are NOT identified by the AM mark.

The Police Museum at 27 Coombe Road at the Peak is also worth a visit, see details on the website listed above.

Some relationships are strong enough to last a lifetime, and it’s not attributed to luck or chance. It’s thanks to continuous efforts from both parties and a desire to be together.

That big empty space right there is where my catalytic converter used to sit. Somebody was kind enough to remove it for me while I was bowling on Sunday night. Yup, just rolled under and cut it out. So I guess I should thank them for cutting down on my gas bill and making my car more full efficient. I could probably get faster track times too. Someone was looking out for me.

I started it up and it sounded like I had a giant hole in my muffler. Little did I know, exhaust wasn't even making it to the muffler. Now my truck sounds like Gravedigger is rolling down the street. Really. I am always amazed at how loud engines are without the muffler. It sounds like the motor is sitting in the passenger seat, buckled up next to me.

I've heard that this kind of theft is sort of the new fad. These converters can either be sold as is or melted down for the metals housed in the cat. Google tells me that mine had good amounts of platinum, other manufacturers even use gold to increase oxidation.

The person(s) who hit me, appear to know exactly what they were doing. Two clean cuts on either side of the flanges and that's it. I drive a truck and it sits higher up than cars. Roll in, cut cut, roll out. That's it. Probably made a couple hundred bucks in seconds, not a bad gig.

If you know someone who is doing this, please punch them in the throat for me.

Missing Unicorn

@ Queen St

Seen three of these in Hay Hill and London Street today; one lady was reading it for a full ten minutes. I hope the unicorn gets reunited with her owner. Perhaps you can spread the word too.

Today I begin to understand what love must be, if it exists... When we are parted, we each feel the lack of the other half of ourselves. We are incomplete like a book in two volumes of which the first has been lost. That is what I imagine love to be: incompleteness in absence.
