Things took a turn for the worse, after an excellent visit to the new Lego House in Billund, Denmark.

The Sigfig has disappeared, and is presumed alive assumed but missing. They were last seen at the Lego House, and is thought to have been lost on the way back to the hotel.

The Sigfig is pictured in the top left corner, and we're offering a reward for his safe return. If you find him, please contact us at holla@silentmode.tv.

This year I still have not done any trip to Iran. I guess this is another country that I missed. Will try to make at least a trip to Iran before year end.

Meysam has been my good friend since the 1st time I visited Iran. Since he does not write much English, we never keep in touch through email. But the last time I met Mesam was November 2007 ( My 8th visit to Iran). A very good friend, I guess I am missing him and his family.

when I miss u ,I just go to the first place we met

Its nearly 2 years since the passing of fellow Flickrite Charles Dawson.

In January 2019 the passing of Charles Dawson was announced by his family on his Twitter feed.

Twitter account:

Charles Dawson's photostream:

I was stumped. I regarded myself as a friend to Charles, even though we never met in person. We'd shared photos, and conversed on Flickrmail. He still pops into my head everytime I see LEGO or an Eddie Stobart truck.

Sounds like Charles had a good send off.

I succeeded in getting Charles' account to a "In Memoriam" status. Note the 'In Memoriam: Charles Dawson' title on his photostream. Many thanks to Flickr for allowing this feature. This means Charles' photos will remain here indefinitely - a fitting tribute.

I'm not sure what Charles would have made of the times we are living in, I hope he would take it with a sense of hope, and of course engage in photography and LEGO.

We miss you Charles.

I so miss my flowers. Spring can not come soon enough. I feel so out of practice shooting them. BRING ON SPRING!!

I'm fortunate to own several cameras 35mm,6x6 and 4x5 .All present a different shooting experience. 6x9 was missing from my useable cameras.

A fan of mamiya I purchased a mamiya universal + 75mm , 127mm and 2x 6x9 backs . All items seem mint and came from 3 different suppliers from japan and 3 to 5 days to arrive in the UK Chose the lenses carefully to suit my general photography both of these lenses have good reviews . Looking forward to using .

This corner restaurant was once a flower shop with a mural of a black-billed magpie on it. The flower shop closed long ago. The mural looked like this in 2018, in 2020, and like this in 2021.

Not all the bridges have been retained - this one over the lane has been removed necessitating an annoying road crossing

When our son was a toddler, he and my husband used to watch Dr Who together. One of their jokes was that one monster ate heads and another ate bodies. And here is evidence this was true!

BTW, now we are watching Dr Who with our toddler granddaughter!
