Hard to believe the last time we were on the road and on the GS together was all the way back in early August of last year! All the international travel we did in 2017 was amazing, but it also meant that we missed out on our cherished road trips on our 2-wheeled Salar.... The Psalter World Map or the Map Psalter is a small mappa mundi from the 13th century, now in the British Library, found in a psalter. No other records of psalters found from the Middle Ages have a mappa mundi.
Jerusalem is at the centre of the map; the Red Sea can be seen coloured red at upper right of the globe.
Not to be confused with its near-contemporary, the Hereford Cathedral Mappa Mundi, I expected this puzzle to be more of a pleasure than it actually turned out to be.
Disappointingly there was a piece missing and a number of 'false fits', so that I had to keep rearranging the thin and loose fitting pieces.
I'm sure if a company like Ravensburger or Educa had issued it, it would have been so much more enjoyable to assemble.

And they say past times were better, and they say growing older prevents you from coming back there, and they say moments pass by and never get back, and they say its for the better.
But as an image in the memory, as corner of the mind, those childhood places sometimes come back with no purpose.
Even if it's a simple swing in an ancient Celtic castro.
This, of course, is Jinxie. He’s become quite a house-cat since we moved into our new home. Since we moved in, he stays indoors almost all the time, where before he seemed to prefer being outside. Maybe it’s the big windows in the new house… he spends most of his time sitting on the window sills.
A very sad thing has happened though. Last Wednesday I went to the front door and found Fuzzy sopping wet and covered with mud. The only thing I could think of that another cat beat him up (there has been a big male stray cat hanging around lately). I took Fuzzy inside and gave him a bath, but I didn’t find any wounds on him. He seemed fine, just very muddy and wet. Later that night he was whining to go out. So I put him on the porch and checked on him every so often. He was just sitting on the porch with the other cats, so I assumed he was OK. About an hour later when I looked, he was gone. I figured he went off to go to the bathroom, but he did not come back, even though I called and called for him. The next day he was still gone, and I discovered that Baby was missing too. I can’t imagine what could have happened to them. It’s been almost a week now, and I have not been able to find either of them. I’ve looked everywhere… even trekked through the snow and the woods calling them, but still they have not come home. Baby has gone off before, so I’m still hopeful that he’ll be back, but Fuzzy has never ever wandered. I feel so badly about it, and I wish I had not put him back outside that night. Please say a prayer that he will come home! I know Jinxie misses Fuzzy - they spent so much time curled up in my bed together.

Last Friday after work, the sky was very clear and no moon. It was the perfect time for night photography. So I decide to stop a the cost before back to home. It’s close to town and this place have with relatively low light pollution. Unfortunately, temperature was very cold, 8 degrees and very humide, but it can be worst with wind :-)
Until I got a very wide angle lens, I still doing panorama. This take longer and don’t allow multiple exposure for hdri processing :-(
