I remember what she used to be like. I remember the vigour and her passion for life. Alas, I have seen what ME/CFS does to a person. Give her life back, I plead. "Nothing can be done", they say. And so my humble contribution to #millionsmissing last year; A pair of shoes and the reflection of a memory.
To my wife i dedicate this poem:
"On the surface she smiles,
Its nothing but a masquerade,
To veil her true feelings in a shroud of dismay,
Because the surface is crumbling,
No one see her hurting,
All we see is the glimmering reflections of what was,
Off the broken shards that she was made up of
Broken pieces are scattered everywhere,
A life of imprisonment within herself,
An inhumane fate."
It has been well over a month since I last photographed anything on the WCML. As I was nearby to Church Brampton, it would have been very rude not to see what awful gap was behind the locomotives on 4M87 Felixstowe-Trafford Park. Thankfully, there was no gap. The lovely lasses are 86607 and 86610. A shame about that bland sky though..... 10th September 2015
The property at the end of the peninsula was once a beautiful victorian home and all that went with it. Sadly, the home is gone and all that is left of the pier into Carter Creek are a few support beams
Again in Zhytomir now, and though autumn is my favorite season, but this is not the autumn I love so... Maybe, that's why I miss Thiland now, especially those two days of the ocean trip...Phuket...
Steam-driven Civil War ironclad.
Three of its five boilers are to the lower left, The cylinders and drive rods are in the center (below and to the right of the cannon, and part of the central drive wheel (missing its wooden paddles) is to the far right.

I miss the wildflowers, covering fields and making even the sides of the road gardens of color and joy.
I miss the cool evenings and the breeze tousling my hair.
I miss you, here, with me, tumbling about the countryside.
I miss spring.
"The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides."

Spicebush Swallowtails,Black Tiger Swallowtails and Pipevine swallowtails all have white body spots and this fellow does not so I am quite confused as to what to call him. If I must guess, I would say Spicebush Swallowtail that has somehow lost its body spots

I was really missing my little brother for some reason today. He's an airman in the United States Navy. So I took a hat that he left behind and combined it with the necklace that my Mom gave me when I was 11 (I wear it everyday) . . . stuck it on my ottoman and snapped a few shots before I had to walk out the door.

With the drought conditions I sure am missing all the beautiful flowers so I thought I would post some color today! Smiles!
Totally off! The Planar focussing is difficult to control at close quarters. Especially for off-centred subjects, the DOF is very thin....I need a lot more practice at this!
A shot with the Hasselblad 500C. A capture from my recent outing with Zyker and Azr at the Taman Botani, Putrajaya. The bamboo garden there are just a wonderful place to spend some time shooting bokeh.

Comical Ned (with the funny shaped head) is trying to entice Farmer George and Hubert (the conversational Latin speaking horse) over for a lunchtime pint at the Jolly Farmer in the distance. But George is a busy man, as are all farmers and is not sure he has the time, for he needs to find a possible broken fence after some of his sheep were found propping up the bar in The Railway Hotel in Culmstock last night.
Driver Arthritic Arthur cries from the passing train to say that local creamery worker Deidre Dinkle, the flirty darling of the butter blending department is in the pub playing toad in the hole (quite how Arthur knows what the conversation is, I have no idea, but Arthur knows everybody and everything).
George has had a crush on Deidre for ages, and this might be a chance for him to finally ask her out for a ride on his brand new combine harvester. He might also find a couple more of his missing sheep, which means he can justify it as work whilst also satisfying his ongoing lust for love.
I am re-posting this photo because some of my photos are missing from my photo-stream. I found out this one and several others were blogged and posted on advertising sites without my permission. One of the sites is called Technorati. I was looking through my stream and I can't find this one and many others that were posted. This one was in Explore so I found it in one of my posters and in the Explore set that I made. Does anyone know why they would not be in my photo pages? You can find yours on Flickr DNA in fd's flickr toys.
