It's been a while now since I have been in the alpine. Too busy traveling, working and planning a wedding among many other things that keep my life in the lowlands. I am really looking forward to getting out there!
This shot and the ones below from Big White Mountain near Kelowna B.C. Pictured is Aaron on the east summit of big White Mountain. The summit is nothing to write home about but the sunset was glorious! Thanks Aaron and Kelly for having us!
Hi everyone, just had to stop in and say that I miss you and your lovely photos. I have been so busy at work and just too tired when I get home. Thanks for all the inquiries about my well being. The conventional wisdom seems to be that the zombies got me. They are going to have to try a bit harder. Truth is that real life caught up with me and I'm deep in the midst of launching a new business venture. The camera has been gathering dust and I haven't had time to visit your streams, which I miss immensely. I hope to come up for air soon and get back in the flickr routine. One of the headlights is still in place but another light is missing on the nose of RTG Turboliner No. 59 sitting along Indiana Route 54 near Dugger, Indiana.

Dang it!!! I missed my flight back to Atlanta and I miss my boys soooooooooooooooo much! Now I'm late even 5 more hours!
I took this shot laying on my stomach almost but end up missing the setting sun. Oh well, I still like it.

This guy is still hanging around Mammoth, Yellowstone Park as part of the elk herd that is there year around. Apparently these animals haven't seen the video showing the animals running from the park because a huge volcano is supposedly going to erupt at any moment!

Missing Melody is hidden treasure. With several small islands to explore everything about Missing Melody is cuddly comfort and relaxation. Drink your coffee in beach boho comfort while watching the sun come up over the water. Have those midnight chats on the villa rooftop. The gardens are overflowing with flowers to photograph. You can just breathe in the relaxation without the allergies. ;)

Myself and a friend were out taking photos in the hills today. I saw this sign and then a poster someone had put up about a missing dog. I couldn't resist, however tragic it seems. View this large to make out the poster.
One of our still functioning pottery manufacturers, Heron Cross Pottery Limited whose factory sits between Chilton Street and Hines Street, Heron Cross, Stoke-on-Trent, still producing earthen ware goods whilst many of its competitors have ceased to trade.
This potbank, constructed in and around 1876 by Hines Brothers on what was a former colliery, was originally a three storey range but was remodelled following a fire. This part of the factory (range) along with the associated bottle kiln is grade II listed.
It was bought by Grimwades Pottery in 1907 and carried on production until World war 2 when it was requisitioned by the goverment to store mines and bully beef (an unusual combination). It was purchased in 1961 by Frank William Ridge Senior and is still operated by the family, the current owner being Christopher Ridge.
As can be seen, the bottle kiln has been incorporated into the factory.
Also visible on this elevation is the ghost sign for the one time Frit Kiln Restaurant. The lower sign board used to read "Heron Cross Pottery".

The P-51 Mustang "Toulouse Nuts", and the P-40 Warhawk of the Collings Foundation fly overhead as the B-17 "Nine-O-Nine" taxis below on 9/9/19. The Nine-O-Nine was lost today in a tragic crash At the Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, CT.
I am working on my old files and stumbled across this picture, taken in June of last year, shortly after I got my Canon 50D. I realized that I don't really see that much of blue sky anymore...and felt little nostalgic.

Mi bici fue robada de mi antejardín la semana pasada. Es una bici de una velocidad, con una bandera con calavera y un rayo en ella. El rayo y la bandera los pueden haber sacado. Esta bici era nueva de tienda.

I did not take this photo, but if you see the GPS (OLD HEBRON ROAD, PLYMOUTH, NH) area, it was lost or stolen or otherwise missing in the general vicinity of this area.
This was my daughters cat , my younger son was taking care of it and he got out night before last.
This is the second cat that has gone missing since December and I suspect foul play.
Along with losing two of his best friends and his cousin this past year (as well as his brothers and sisters losing them) we may not have a very happy birthday for Winnie 😞

Ik heb deze foto niet gemaakt, maar als je het GPS-gebied ziet, is het verloren of gestolen of anderszins vermist in de algemene omgeving van dit gebied.
Dit was de kat van mijn dochter, mijn jongste zoon zorgde ervoor en hij kwam de vorige avond uit.
Dit is de tweede kat die sinds december is verdwenen en ik vermoed vals spel.
Samen met het verlies van twee van zijn beste vrienden en zijn neef van het afgelopen jaar (evenals zijn broers en zussen die ze verliezen), hebben we misschien geen erg gelukkige verjaardag voor Winnie 😞

Este era el gato de mi hija, mi hijo menor lo estaba cuidando y salió la noche anterior.
Este es el segundo gato que ha desaparecido desde diciembre y sospecho que es un juego sucio.
Además de perder a dos de sus mejores amigos y a su primo el año pasado (así como a sus hermanos y hermanas que los perdieron), es posible que no tengamos un feliz cumpleaños para Winnie 😞

Questo era il mio gatto delle figlie, mio figlio minore se ne stava prendendo cura ed è uscito la sera prima dello scorso.
Questo è il secondo gatto che è scomparso da dicembre e sospetto che il gioco sia disgustoso.
Oltre a perdere due dei suoi migliori amici e suo cugino l'anno scorso (così come i suoi fratelli e sorelle li perdono) potremmo non avere un compleanno molto felice per Winnie 😞

My butterflies have not returned yet to my garden… The most of them prefer coming in September, when my Blue Asters are in bloom. And butterlies LOVE the Asters ( : have a look at my Butterfly Album)! But certain among them will do appear… Therefore , I opened my archive Butterfly File, which still has some lovely shots from the past..
