** not to be confused with the Japanese Yokai: Onikuma **
"We are here in the area of the Woolly BumblebeeBears (Nonikuma, subspecies of the Woodling Faeries)**. Those are little bumblebeebear fairies, which are only visible at full moon! We call them the Luna Nights. And this is just such a moment! "
Edward approached and saw in the brownish forest floor among the fungi a charming little creature with pleasing, round shapes like a woolly bear. Big, innocent and yet somewhat mischievous eyes looked questioningly at Edward. The creature measured less than a decimeter long. Despite the silvery moonlight, Edward saw that the nonikuma's wings had the same markings as those of a 'garden tiger moth'. The elven bear spread its wings and broke away from Edward's field of vision.
**These and more recently discovered species are already documented in the prospective 'Woodlings Faeries Encyclopedia' field guide ~WIP by @charlescreaturecabinet
