Hereby an introduction of my youngest creation; small Pin-Da Peanut Faeries 45mm Micro BJD. I chose this name because I think this is a nice and suitable name. You might think that there is another meaning attached to it, but I certainly didn't mean that in this case!
In the second instance, I started to think further about this fueled by the fuss about the magazine 'PINDA'.
The word peanut has a nasty association for a number of Indo-Dutch 'Indos' because it used to be used by white fellow Dutch as a swear word. Then two more words followed. For yet another group of Indos, it has become a geuzennaam. After much consideration, I have chosen to use this name, albeit with a small play on words. It is about naming my own fantasy creatures and it has no further nasty intentions.
PS By the way, I had started making my Pin-Da faerie much earlier before I even knew that such a magazine would appear with this name.

βWe zijn aangekomen bij het bosatelier van de kleermaakster en naaister van het Fluisterwoud! Zij is, zoals ik al vertelde, eigenlijk al heel oud maar ze blijft beschikken over een jeugdige vitaliteit en creativiteit! Vele Woodlings laten zich door haar kleden!
Zij heet Lin-Lin Murasaki, de Koala Kitten, ook wel Mura Kitty genoemd naar haar kleur...β
Fidelia klopte op de deur van het bosatelier en vol spanning wachtte Edward af.
Na korte tijd werd de deur geopend en toen zag Edward een wezentje dat hem wederom zeer verraste! Hij had er al zovelen gezien, doch deze trof hem opnieuw diep in het hart: een charmant poezendametje, dat zoβn schitterende paarse vacht had dat Edward in vervoering raakte, stond in de deuropening. Ze droeg een zwart fluwelen jurkje met fijne witte kantjes afgezet, dat wonderschoon contrasteerde met haar spiritueel-paarse kleur. Op haar kopje tussen de oortjes prijkte een zwart fluwelen strikje. Maar het meest merkwaardige dat Edward opviel, was dat haar neus geen gewone poezenneus was, maar een Koalaberenneus!"
