I'm progressing slowly in makeup.
I have many ideas but not enough free time.
I think that the face with freckles and a little mouth
makes my doll just charming ..............
Maybe that's why she quickly found a new home and family in Florida.
She leaves my house in two days ......

It was almost 1 year ago. She will celebrate
her birthday very soon ! :-)

Alrededor de estas muñecas existe un mundo de aficionados que ha ido creciendo por todo el mundo durante los últimos 10 años. Una de las facetas más destacables del mundo BJD es su vertiente artística que abarca desde la pintura (maquillajes para las caras, sombreados de los cuerpos. Incluso existen artistas de renombre y con fama), las modificaciones (o la creación propia de muñecas), la fotografía o la costura.
Estas muñecas rescatan el sistema de bolas y articulaciones utilizado por las muñecas europeas del siglo XIX.
Las BJD actuales están enfocadas a un público coleccionista adulto y muchas veces a un sentido artístico que busca explotar todas las posibilidades de estas muñecas personalizables: su customización con maquillajes, modificaciones, fotografía, costura...
El precio de estas muñecas oscila entre los 100$ a los 1700$,
