Welcome to the Jungle: May Compositing Challenge
Brief: Welcome to the jungle, where every leaf holds a secret, and every shadow conceals a mystery. In this challenge, participants are invited on a journey of discovery as they explore the untamed wilderness of the jungle through digital art. From ancient ruins to exotic creatures, participants will embark on an adventure of exploration and revelation, capturing the wonder and beauty of the jungle's hidden treasures.
Guidelines:
Theme: Jungle Discovery
Objective: Create a digital artwork that embodies the spirit of exploration and discovery in the jungle.
Imagery: Utilize imagery of lush foliage, towering trees, exotic wildlife, and mysterious ruins to convey the untamed beauty and intrigue of the jungle.
Composition: Design your artwork to evoke a sense of wonder and curiosity, guiding viewers on a visual journey of exploration through the depths of the jungle.
Creativity: Encourage innovative interpretations and imaginative compositions that capture the essence of discovery in the jungle, whether through realistic portrayals or fantastical depictions.
Submission Requirements:One digital image per participant, 4x5 ratio. Image dimensions should not exceed 2400 x 3000px. Submit entries by 22nd May. Post your submissions here and, if possible, as a comment in the Facebook challenge thread.
Winners will be announced before the end of the month. Clearly mention any external resources used, and ensure they comply with licensing regulations.

RULES: Participants can post ONE entry to each challenge. The entry must be posted by the deadline (three weeks after the first of each month) Entries must adhere to the criteria and theme outlined in the brief. Composites must incorporate a minimum of four images, encouraging participants to push their compositing skills. Submissions should clearly demonstrate the use of photo manipulation techniques such as blending, perspective, colour correction, and other relevant skills. Use of AI imagery is not permitted; however, Photoshop's generative fill is allowed in moderation. Submissions containing explicit, offensive, or inappropriate content will be disqualified.
JUDGING PROCESS: Each submission will have two winners: one determined by judges (Rikard, James and guest judges) and a second determined by the highest number of likes in the challenge thread. The winning composite will be showcased across Nucly's social media platforms, shared within the Nucly Academy and featured in the Nucly newsletter.
