No safari is complete without a nice shot of a Lilac Breasted Roller.

Sunrise from one of my mornings on Capers Island a couple weeks back... There were a lot of gnarly old stumps on the beach but I particularly liked this piece of driftwood.
The Kinzua Bridge or the Kinzua Viaduct (pron.: /ˈkɪnzuː/[4] or /ˈkɪnzuː.ə/) was a railroad trestle that spanned Kinzua Creek in McKean County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The bridge was 301 feet (92 m) tall and 2,052 feet (625 m) long prior to its collapse in 2003.
The bridge was originally built from iron in 1882 and was billed as the "Eighth Wonder of the World", holding the record as the tallest railroad bridge in the world for two years. In 1900 the bridge was dismantled and simultaneously rebuilt out of steel to allow it to accommodate heavier trains
I finally got the time to enjoy a day out in a beautiful autumn landscape. One of the places I visited were Strømsfoss pier, with steamboats as daily in the summertime transport is arranged on the Halden canal. Strømsfoss, Østfold, Norway.

Temple Concord's roots reach back over one hundred years to the first Jewish organization in this area. The original Jewish settlers in Binghamton organized the Hebrew Benevolent Society, founded in 1862. Subsequently, they created a number of Jewish organizations and religious societies. Temple Concord was incorporated in November, 1950, and in February 1951 regular services were instituted in the Kilmer Mansion. The historic mansion now houses our Hebrew and Judaic schools as well as a library.

One of the most beautiful forests in Europe is located on the South-East slope of the "Barranco de Borrué" and, opposite to it, along the track betwen Fanlo and Buesa trhough "La Pardina del Señor" (Huesca, Aragón, España). Taking pictures of that slope is a challenge because the light is either dull and low, or an elevated annoying backlight. This calls for good lenses (which is far from my case!), low ISO and a tripod. It's a real color binge.

poi viene notte :-))))

as the weather was rainy and stormy, we couldn't hike down to the colorado river and enjoyed instead this great view from desert view watchtower.
we were stoked about this fantastic landscape, the multi-layered sandstone formation full of contrasts and details, the color palette, and having some kind of a look into the history of earth.
