I MADE THIS! Yes, I'm in disbelief too. I had to hand-sew the suede after I jammed my mom's sewing machine (oops!). OY, my poor sore fingers! So worth it though. I'm really happy with how it turned out!

Adapted from this zippered pouch tutorial:

and inspired by this bag: abeautifulmess.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8358081ff69e20167694ff...

I guess I wasn't the only one inspired by this bag because A Beautiful Mess posted their own tutorial. Too bad it was a few days AFTER I made my clutch!

I love this fabric. I found it in a remnant bin, and I love the little white flowers nestled amongst the leaves. I think paired with the osnaburg, this fabric makes a refreshing little zip pouch.

I made this fully lined front zippered pouch for my tutorial.

With a swirl of rainbow buttons. (No, I didn't stuff this in the jar, I misjudged the size, but sent it anyways!)

Zippered pouch that I made using applique. I wrote a free tutorial for this pattern. Check it out!

Layers of the plastic bags are fused together and then sewn into a pouch, complete with zipper. Ready to quilt. This will be for the stealing game at the Christmas party with my quilty friends.

I paired a little racing stripe with this adorable turtle fabric to make a funny (poignent?) statement. Who wins the race again? This cute little zippie holds your pencils in style.

Made for my solitary annual craft fair - in Riley Blake's Sidewalks in Teal

The NCLA x Shopbop collection is different from the ones we’ve seen so far. This time, it’s not just about cool nail wraps but also something a little longer lasting than cute statement nail designs: makeup bags or, if you’re into multitasking, beach clutches. Matching your...

I really liked this way of sewing in the zipper - made it look so much nicer! :o)

My first time adding a grommet to a finished item.

This pouch is great to store all your items and it is a nice size to tuck away in your bag. It is made of satin with black and red chrysanthemums for the outside and a coordinating red cotton lining for the inside.

About 5.5"x5" in size, this padded pouch will hold your camera, video iPod, keys, cosmetics, or whatever items you might need to store discreetly away.

This pouch coordinates with the black and red chrysanthemums satin purse I also have in my shop.

I'm happy to do a custom size or different interior fabric - just let me know what you would like for your pouch.

Third attempt at a zipper - now with a zipper foot on the machine - still in need of practice. :o)

Made for my solitary annual craft fair. I made about 20 purses - Clockwise from top left: oh darn, cannot remember the name/designer/anything about the 2 owl fabric! Going Coastal by Emily Herrick, Out at Sea by Sarah Jane fo Michael Miller Fabrics, Ele train shroom by Dan Stiles for Birch fabrics (organic), Bluebird park by Kate and Birdie

Made from all my Japanese fabric scraps- the bag is linen. It's lined with Heather Ross-dandelions. It's my favorite little zippered pouch and I use it all the time- carry small sewing projects- am working on some hexagons for an English paper piecing project- so its perfect.

Tucking these wee scraps into your pouch for you partner!

These ones were custom made for a friend. ;-)

Made from scraps and linen. Mostly an exercise for me to learn how to do zippers.
