Made for the Sweet Pouch Swap, www.sewdelicious.com.au/2013/01/sweet-pouch-swap-sign-up...., on Sew Delicious: www.sewdelicious.com.au/
I included the chocolates that I particularly enjoy as well as a couple of postcards of my local area.
I also included a bag of the lollipops that my students like as rewards / bribery.
This zippered pouch is going OS.
Very happy with how this one came out. Took some practice . . . but oh how I love this project for a nice gift!

I finally tackled sewing zippers to make you a small (well, I think it's more small/medium) pouch that will be stuffed with fabric.
This is a pattern based on Tea Bag by Laurraine Yuyama of Patchwork Pottery. This pattern is too cute, I did change the zipper application because I wanted the zipper to set down rather than appear on top. I also used my embridery machine to write "tea" on the tag. Loads of fun to make but not big enough to carry much, but good place to stash some emergency money/change. My mom loved it.
The boxiness is created by using pleats. ingenious! For a short tutorial, go to my blog projectsbyjane.blogspot.com/2009/02/other-ways-to-achieve...

Set of family washbags made as a gift for a dear friend and work colleague who is moving his family down to Durham. These are for him, his wife, his 2 daughters and 10 year old son, I wanted them to vaguely coordinate in their bathroom! (Fabrics are detailed in blog or tags).
My external HD and cable fit perfectly inside this custom sized zippered pouch. Now I need to make 3 more!
Kaffee Fassett pink and turquoise flowers are on the outside and a pink vine pattern lines the inside of this cotton pouch.
About 5.5"x4.5" in size, this lightly padded pouch will hold your camera, video iPod, keys, or whatever items you might need to store discreetly away.
I'm happy to do a custom size or different interior fabric - just let me know what you would like for your pouch.

It was the perfect birthday gift for my daughter. Within minutes of receiving it, she had filled it with makeup. She's such a girly girl, even though I remember full well how she used to terrorize the Seven Seas (Lagoon) during our Walt Disney World vacations. Shiver me timbers!
Amy Butler aquatic navy wildflowers covers the outside of this useful pouch, while a sweet cream on cream vine pattern lines the inside.

Lovely geishas with pink and blue fans stand on a yellow background on the outside, while a floral pattern reminiscent of their kimonos lines the inside.
About 6"x4" in size, this lightly padded pouch will hold your camera, video iPod, keys, or whatever items you might need to store discreetly away.

One pouch in the hand is worth ... three birds in a bush?
Yeah, it makes no sense. I'm on a zippered pouch making tear right now. Here's the first one, with this patch that I think is so cute! Final measurements are 7"x4".
I used the twelve22 zipper pouch tutorial to make this one.
