In the process of inserting the 2nd of 4 zippers. I am using fabric that I ice dyed.

This is a zipper pouch made from black twill fabric (97% cotton / 3% lycra.)

There are 3 Westie appliques on the front of the bag, which were created using an exclusive cotton fabric print designed by me, printed through Spoonflower. The bag has black cotton lining and closes with a black zipper.

Measurements:

The pouch is approximately 6.5" and 3.5" tall.

If you sew, odds are that you have heaps of scraps that you just couldn't part with. I can't part with even the tiniest pieces of fabric used for making dresses for my girls. The fabric at the top belongs in this category. I used it for the dress my oldest daughter wore on her first day at school.

This is the beginning of my Stitch It Swap pouch. The bottom is a creamy leather. Bright orange peels to be added next.

Zipper ends as they should be.

Made using vintage fabric scraps a friend gave me last year. Lined in a white and blue stripped shirting. I love the apple green zipper and ribbon trim! Made using this tutorial. I made mine a bit larger, starting with fabric rectangles 7x9, and added some flannel as "batting" between the outer fabric and the lining for added stability. I also created a bit of a bottom so it will sit up on it's own and function more like a little purse.

Have plans to make more for my girlfriends.

This is a zipper pouch in an exclusive cotton fabric print designed by me, printed through Spoonflower. I created the print with sketches of my dear Westie, Dexter.

Inside, the bag is lined in black cotton and features a 3-section pocket in the Westie print fabric. I have turned the bag inside-out in picture 3 for a better look.

The outer fabric and the inner Westie pocket both have fusible interfacing for extra stability. The bag closes with a white zipper.

Measurements:

The bag is approximately 6.25" long at its widest point and is 4.5" tall. The bottom is 1.5" wide.

To be gifted to a co-worker who has just retired.

I used the free pattern from noodlehead, but I had to slightly change the measurements in order to use a zipper from my stash. The scissors print is from my stash, but the lining is one of my cherished low volume scraps. Well, I may cheat and add it as another project of my scrap challenge. After all, the batting and the lining come from my scrap bin.

Dressy Bessy's inner workings. One of my favorite things about the doll when I was a kid. I would hide secret little items in her kangaroo pouch.

The solid blue pieces will form the zipped pockets.

I didn't do such a good job on this bag, but it's cute and it makes me happy anyway.

This is a pattern based on Tea Bag by Laurraine Yuyama of Patchwork Pottery. This pattern is too cute, I did change the zipper application because I wanted the zipper to set down rather than appear on top. I also used my embridery machine to write "tea" on the tag. Loads of fun to make but not big enough to carry much, but good place to stash some emergency money/change. My mom loved it.

Kaffee Fassett pink and turquoise flowers are on the outside and a pink vine pattern lines the inside of this cotton pouch.

About 5.5"x4.5" in size, this lightly padded pouch will hold your camera, video iPod, keys, or whatever items you might need to store discreetly away.

I'm happy to do a custom size or different interior fabric - just let me know what you would like for your pouch.
