Done in my coffee break for my fb profile photo. Haven't touched zentangles for so long! Loved doing it. :)
so, I've come across another challenge. This one is over at creativedoodlingwithjudy.blogspot.ca/2012/08/freestyle-ce.... This week the challenge was to do freestyle Celtic Knots - these were fun to do and as you can see I couldn't stop at just one - thanks for looking :)

In doing this project, I also didn't particularly care for the color wash first. But, onward!
These butterflies were made by using blow paint pens and a stencil. I then tangled around them... the part of me that doesn't want to leave any space untouched says, do it! add some more patterns to the background - the minimalist side of me wins this time!!! hehe

Discovered this art form yesterday and decided to have a go. There's a few different types, Mandala, Zendala and Zendoodles...I suppose there could be more. Anyway this is my attempt.
On a coaster I picked up from The Royal Oaks Hotel in Balmain :)
