Since I raked a lot of leaves this week, here is Connecticut Southern CSO-4 doing their own kind of yard work at West Springfield. After running around their pickup, they'd shove east back across the river, and turn south to head home.
Shunting at Carlisle Kingmoor, the yard a shadow of its former self. Loaded timber wagons in the background, but no service to Chirk this week.
The Carthage South Local stopped at the Cotter depot awaiting a fresh crew. The Cotter All Purpose will take it south from here.

Running on what was the CSX, formerly Pere Marquette, the Lake State Railway job from Wixom to Flint arrives the yard in Flint. The crew will tie down the train and board an already idling train in the yard for the return trip down to Wixom.
We started getting a little snow after dinner. I put the camera on a tripod and shot this 8 second exposure out the window. The yard is completely dark to my eye but the camera picks up the lighting from the park behind us.
Eastern coal loads N904 are rolling down E02 track with a train of 90 Bethgons for the JH Campbell generating plant in West Olive. There's not a GE in sight as the coal train's pair of SD70MACs pass inbound Q335's pair of SD40-2s, which were tied down after cutting away from their train in E06 due to their crew being short on HOS. The tracks here are, from right to left: the NYC Transfer (since removed), Service, Main, E02, E04, E06, and E08. E02 was the perfect parking spot for these eastern coal trains waiting to head to the plant, being able to just hold a pair of engines and 90 cars.
This bird is a frequent visitor and mocks other birds and meows when upset. He loves oranges too and so many other bird friends in my neighborhood do.

PCRC 1860 eases an intermodal train into the P.I.T. Yard Limits at Milepost 46, or Balboa Heights, on the Panama Canal Railway.
The PCRC operates on a track warrant system between Panama City and Colon. Transmissions between train crews and the yard are done in spanish while transmissions between crews and the dispatcher are in english. All crews either receive and/or release their track warrants at Tower B in Colon and/or Balboa Heights in Panama City. There are three defect detectors on the line, all transmitting in english, so its essentially like railfanning in the US, though knowing spanish goes a long way.

Front yard art, Dodge (Power Giant?).
Anyone got a year/model for me on the 5 window, dual wheel, quad headlight V8 truck?
From; Atkipete - "It is an Aussie built Dodge 'Power Giant' A10 model from the early 60s. Originally a petrol V8 but the raised air cleaner behind the cab suggests it has been repowered."
I think, near ~ Beerwah, Queensland, Australia.

Power for the YER62 transfer to Englewood Yard rests by the yard office at the former MKT Eureka Yard in west Houston.
To the east of the yard, the former MKT to Downtown Houston was abandoned in the 90's and later turned into a hike and bike trail. The "MKT Trail" is now a popular neighborhood amenity and has helped spur development in the Houston Heights.
