What is wrong with flickr? I posted this photo and it keeps posting it over and over. I have deleted at least 100 of this same photo!
A small waterfall in Matthiessen State Park that I've never been to before. I took a wrong turn as you come down the stairs into the canyon and walked along the ice until I came to a dead end and this nice little frozen waterfall.

I headed off up a mountain today and ended up on the wrong one but It did not matter as these views are amazing from here. The dusty look is actually pollen from the pine trees blowing in the wind. The ridge I should have been on is the horitontal one roughly mid photo.
I may be too skinny or I may be too fat..
But will you tell me please, what is wrong with that?.
I may not have a mansion or even a nice car..
And my face may have more than just one ugly scar..
Does that mean I'm different?. Does that mean I'm strange?.
Does that mean I roam alone on this earths gigantic range?.
We all are one in Gods great eyes I hope that you can see..
That you and I are equal and that's how life should be..
So reach deep down inside your heart and find the love you hide..
And do not judge me, be my friend and I will always be by your side..

CP/D&H Train 556 waits for a recrew at CSX’ East Side Yard in Philadelphia. There was always hope of getting an MLW leading on this train, but this version had two M636’s trailing. The next day’s 555 would return with the MLW’s leading, but that was Monday, and work was calling.
Some people, especially celebrities, think that the most beautiful thing in the world is wear clothing made with animal fur. These people are totally wrong ... this is a SHAME, a CRIME, a INFRINGEMENT, a MURDER!

I confess that I cried seeing these pictures and videos ... how can the human be so cruel with the animals just to get some money, status and "beauty"?
these selfish people should be skinned alive as they do with the animals, they are COWARDS.
One day the justice will be done, but as we are in a world whose only worth the money, it'll take a long time .... and the animals do not have much time to wait, their cries for help are not heard ... take a look at the number of animals that are dead for each coat ....

To this picture, I get inspired by so many photos of protests, some photos are on the list above.
The "blood/raw" on Gabriella's body was made with real make-up.
This challenge is the one that most touched me (from all the 3 cycles) , it was really very difficult and also good, because it is my own way of protest against this absurd
The phrases scattered throughout the picture, some I copied and some I created from the photos of the protests against the slaughter of animals for the fur clothing production
Gabriella is representing the suffering of an animal being skinned alive
ps.: I was cleaning her body and noticed she got lots of pink stains >.<
and they don't want to come off!! what can I do??

I'm amazed I managed to rally in time to get this shot done today before Lost tonight. Let me back up. I went to Urgent Care this morning to get my leg checked out since I still can't walk. Turns out I tore my calf muscle and fascia in my right leg. The good news is that I didn't rupture my achilles tendon, so I won't need surgery. The bad news is that it's going to be 4-6 weeks before I can even think about running, jumping, playing soccer, or anything else that I actually want to do with my leg. But I'm thankful because it could be worse. I have to keep reminding myself of that. Anyway, the doctor gave me a prescription for Percocet to help with the pain. I had some issues with nausea when I took Vicodin a few years back, so he thought Percocet would be a good alternative.
WRONG!
About forty-five minutes after taking it, I hit a brick wall of nausea and was completely laid up for the rest of the afternoon, petrified that I was going to throw up. Did I mention that I do NOT throw up? I do everything in my power to avoid it at all costs, no matter what. Even when I know I will feel better afterwards. No thank you. Anyway, today sucked. That's pretty much the point of the story. But I managed to get this shot off for this week's Emulation Challenge in My Face is My Canvas. Can you believe this is our 25th week of emulation challenges??? If you haven't already checked out the group and you have even the slightest interest in face art photography, you owe it to yourself to stop by. I accidently grabbed my 28-300 lens when I ran out the door. But i got several nice shots when the sun came out ever so quickly.
While uploading this photo I am listening to the song "Am I Wrong" by Nico & Vinz, my latest favourite song.The lyrics are excellent and go well with the tune. A line from the song, "trying to reach the things I can not see" is important in the song and gave me the impetus to load this photo because till now, I have not been to sure about its quality.
Taken at Waterton National Park, it was an extreme challenge to capture, but that doesn't make it a good photo. I wonder if I was trying to reach something "I" could not see or if it is what I was looking for.
Another line in the song is, "doing what everybody else does". Sitting on the edge of a mountain to record this is not what everybody else was doing. In fact, standing high on the mountain behind me, they were likely wondering what the heck I was up to. "Trying to reach the things I can not see", maybe that was part of it. .

Obviously the wrong egg for this tiny nest. I found the nest after a fall windstorm. It was not attached to the tree but rather the pinecone which was hanging from the tree. I hope the previous owner of this house survived the year.
