The wrong side of the tracks; a poor or less prestigious part of town.
The expression, American in origin, comes from the idea of a town divided by a rail-road track.
In 1929 , Thorne Smith wrote ‘In most commuting towns…there are always two sides of which the tracks serve as a line of demarcation. There is the right side and the wrong side. Translated into terms of modern American idealism, this means, the rich side and the side that hopes to be rich.’

This old Ford took a wrong turn and got lost a long time ago....HTT everyone!
A class 101 DMU was working wrong line during my visit to Sykes Jct, heading towards Gainsborough, 7.7.88.
I got my inspiration from the new road marking that they did in the neighborhood
Mijn inspiratie heb ik gehaald bij de nieuwe wegmarkering dat ze in de buurt deden
Wrong time of year to be trying this but we were up there anyway, all fledged and out hunting or finding their own territories. Fortunately this one saw fit to return home briefly and I managed this one decent shot. Already an amazing flyer.
Many thanks to all who comment, fave or just enjoy looking, it really is very much appreciated!

I was born with the wrong sign
In the wrong house
With the wrong ascendancy
I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time
For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme
On the wrong day of the wrong week
I used the wrong method with the wrong technique
Wrong... Wrong...
There's something wrong with me chemically
Something wrong with me inherently
The wrong mix in the wrong genes
I reached the wrong ends by the wrong means
It was the wrong plan
In the wrong hands
The wrong theory for the wrong man
The wrong eyes on the wrong prize
The wrong questions with the wrong replies
Wrong... Wrong...
I was marching to the wrong drum
With the wrong scum
Pissing out the wrong energy
Using all the wrong lines
And the wrong signs
With the wrong intensity
I was on the wrong page of the wrong book
With the wrong rendition of the wrong look
With the wrong moon, every wrong night
With the wrong tune playing till it sounded right yeah
Wrong... Wrong (Too long)... Wrong (Too long)...
I was born with the wrong sign
In the wrong house
With the wrong ascendancy
I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time
For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme
On the wrong day of the wrong week
I used the wrong method with the wrong technique
Wrong!!!

There's a right way and a wrong way to tie up your shoelaces. I didn't learn this until I was thirteen!

Occasionally Etta goes the wrong side of an obstacle like this tree. It was very rare for Kahn. I did "set her up" for this one :))
Daily Dog Challenge: Wrong
Wrong Turn 2003.
..Friends Jessie (Eliza Dushku) and Carly (Emmanuelle Chriqui) are traveling with pals Scott (Jeremy Sisto), Evan (Kevin Zegers) and Francine (Lindy Booth) when they have car trouble in West Virginia. Moments later, motorist Chris (Desmond Harrington) crashes into their disabled vehicle. Stranded, the friends discover that they're being stalked by a horde of backwoods cannibals. The woodsmen are hungry and fierce, and they'll be eating well unless Jessie and pals can outsmart them.

Baby wasn't paying any attention to what direction it was going, and Rucca is incredibly tolerant of letting them explore around....
Normally a semi common site across the St Croix River, BNSF 279 leads A8 through Wacouta, MN. I have no idea how this thing got put in the lead, but it was a treat to see. The P42DC kept dropping its load in Washington and 279 was put on.
It is actually a deadly 2.5" half-smooth, half-serrated knife with tactical grip. One minute you are enjoying a bowl of cereal, and the next you are fighting off attackers with this deadly and disguised weapon.
Dont get me wrong
If Im looking kind of dazzled
I see neon lights
Whenever you walk by
Dont get me wrong
If you say hello and I take a ride
Upon a sea where the mystic moon
Is playing havoc with the tide
Dont get me wrong
Dont get me wrong
If Im acting so distracted
Im thinking about the fireworks
That go off when you smile
Dont get me wrong
If I split like light refracted
Im only off to wander
Across a moonlit mile
Once in awhile
Two people meet
Seemingly for no reason
They just pass on the street
Suddenly thunder, showers everywhere
Who can explain the thunder and rain
But theres something in the air
Dont get me wrong
If I come and go like fashion
I might be great tomorrow
But hopeless yesterday
Dont get me wrong
If I fall in the mode of passion
It might be unbelievable
But lets not say so long
It might just be fantastic
Dont get me wrong
Don't get me wrong, The Pretenders
Josh Rich and Ken Drawing running for their lives after a prank went all wrong with the Mad Trucker.
i have discovered while doing this it is
terribly hard to put ice skates on while
balancing on a branch :/ it was good fun though.
Another expansion! i think i'm going to be
doing more of them because i just got a
photoshop 30 day trial and it puts them
together sooo quickly (:
i'm still not sure if i'm happy with it!
CSX 6425 and 2756 lead L320 as it crawls west out of Warwick Yard, but the engineer and conductor quickly discovered that 6425's horn wasn't working- so they would have to flag every crossing along the route until Sterling where they could wye the power. Even if this shot has the wrong leader, I'll still take a GP duo any day of the week, especially if one of them is at least YN2.
Wrong dimensions: 1st, they are falling to wrong place ( small ones), noting is there to catch them. 2nd, at right place ( shifted because of wrong dimensions) where there is something to catch big ones, there is also something wrong ( again because of wrong dimensions). A bigger one clogged the way, too big, coming ones can not get in.
