Metro-North Railroad F40PH-3C no. 4910 (EMD, 1976-1981) is seen leading Morristown Line train 853 towards Highland Ave Station, en-route to Mount Olive.

After briefly running wrong line through Woodgrange Park station 56 105 uses the crossover south of the station with 6L39 05.00 Bridgend - Dagenham Dock. I assume there must be some sort of gauging issue that requires this train to run wrong line through the station. It sure caught me by surprise when I heard the points go over and OTT maps confirmed the impending manoeuvre.
We've had a flock of bluebirds here for about the last three weeks. They come each day and check out the bluebird houses.
I have seen bluebirds here in the middle of winter, so it may be they are checking out the winter housing situation.
The fishing wire you see on the houses has proven to be very effective against house sparrows , but it doesn't seem to phase the bluebirds or house wrens..

A 4th of July picture in mid-August. My flickr stream is like a balding man's comb over. If I was doing a 365, I would have utterly failed months ago. But if I can make my vacation pictures stretch to cover up for the complete lack of pictures being taken in my everyday, uninspired life, I'm shamelessly doing it.
I have never photographed fireworks before, so this was fun for me. A neighbor of my husband's grandparents was setting them off while we were visiting in NC.
Ece has no aim for beauty or similar shoots-she just likes to go out of norms, in her own rebel way, or maybe in Kate Moss' way ..Maybe not for ''beauty shoots'' but, she is definitely cinematic, and maybe she should have gone into ''acting''..
