I came across this place on an almost overnight photo walk in Las Vegas. I guess that there's a lot more to the Las Vegas Strip than the big flashy hotels and casinos.
You never know what you might find around the next corner. Have fun exploring!

With crowds of bemused commuters looking on at the filthy trio of Colas class 66's that have arrived at Temple Meads station instead of their trains. The driver looks like he's taken a wrong turn somewhere. 66850, 66847 and 66848 are about to be split.

Whilst out on the S&C on Monday I was made aware that 37401 was back out on the coastal passenger turns in lieu of a DBSO that had suffered a minor conflagration.
I elicited that it was on the opposite end of a set to 37409 but unfortunately was unable to find out which was at what end.
I popped down to Wukky in the murk to shoot the 14.37 BIF - CAR knowing I had a 50/50 chance.
Oh well!
Like the sign above says, this Caddy went the wrong way in downtown Duluth. Reported to Duluth police at 4 AM on Sunday morning, one can imagine a few plausible scenarios how the car ended up driving down the North Shore Scenic Railroad tracks.
The DPD said it wasn't stolen, so the most plausible explanation, given the wee hour incident on a Saturday night (Sunday Morning), is that a few adult beverages were involved.
The museum used its ex-BN hi-rail boom truck to pull the car back to the grade crossing from where its ill-advised journey began. DM&IR SD18 193 was standing by to assist the truck should it have issues.
Metro-North Railroad F40PH-3C no. 4910 (EMD, 1976-1981) is seen leading Morristown Line train 853 towards Highland Ave Station, en-route to Mount Olive.
Running third in a 3 pack of westbound trains is this mixed freight. The Indianapolis Line Sub was surprisingly busy today.

If you collapse in the water, they’ll come to your rescue. But if you collapse in the sand, even if it’s right next to them, even if you’re one of them, well, you’re just outta business.
Jump home using a shortcut it'll be fine! Never take directions from a guy who talks funny and has a brief case. Now to find a crowbar.

"No vayas por ese camino, te acabarás arrepintiendo", me dijeron mil veces.
"¿Y tú, qué vas a saber?" me preguntaba yo.

After briefly running wrong line through Woodgrange Park station 56 105 uses the crossover south of the station with 6L39 05.00 Bridgend - Dagenham Dock. I assume there must be some sort of gauging issue that requires this train to run wrong line through the station. It sure caught me by surprise when I heard the points go over and OTT maps confirmed the impending manoeuvre.
I'm deeply depressed - said the
guy to the doctor- my life is terrible ,bor
ring and uneventful
nothing ever happens. It feels like an endless hedgehog day.I just can't stand it any longer.- Well, said the doctor- you should change your way of life, you badly need passion ,challenge and risks . In other words, add pepper to your diet
In a couple of weeks the patient
returns looking more depressed and unhappy.
How are things ? -asks the doctor cheerfully.- I followed your advice, doctor, and it turned my life to a nightmare. - Well , said the doctor , Just avoid passion, risks and challenge and you'll be just fine. And don't forget to to make the next appointment with the receptionist...
