Greylag Goose flying together with Canada Goose - there was no other Greylag Goose in the swarm.

How will their goslings look like?

Pretty much straight out of the camera. Minor crop, minor color/tone adjustments, a border and copyright. This is one of those images where when I first saw it, I said "Wow that's kinda cool". I then quickly reminded myself that it's all wrong!! The only thing in focus is the fly's butt and a wing edge, everything else is mush!! Yet I can't bring myself to delete it and everytime I go through this folder looking for something to process I stop on this image everytime!! I like it, so here it is, for better or worse!!

Looking for her next meal - female Castor Bean Tick (Ixodes ricinus) - Schapenteek

Only 3mm in size.

Ixodes ricinus, the castor bean tick, is a chiefly European species of hard-bodied tick. In common with other species of Ixodes, I. ricinus has no eyes.

Ticks find their hosts by detecting animals' breath and body odors, or by sensing body heat, moisture and vibrations. They are incapable of flying or jumping, but many tick species wait in a position known as "questing".

While questing, ticks hold on to leaves and grass by their third and fourth pair of legs. They hold the first pair of legs outstretched, waiting to climb on to the host. When a host brushes the spot where a tick is waiting, it quickly climbs onto the host.

[WIKI]

It may reach a length of 11 mm (0.43 in) when engorged with a blood meal, and can transmit both bacterial and viral pathogens such as the causative agents of Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis.

NB The very small ticks you most often see in spring and summer when you check your exposed legs and arms are usually nymhps (larval stage). Only the mature females drink blood.

Did anyone else have a deja vu during this scene in Episode II?

I, of course, had to wash Brayden's hair (Impossible to do it yesterday cause yesterday was probably my busiest day of this whole year lol, school, cinema, France, back home, lessons to study... Blah Blah Blah) so as her clothes were hanging in my living room while she was drying and as I was intrigued to see if it could work I tried her clothes on a MH Doll and actually it fits her pretty well :D

It's a bit too large to me but even on Brayden it's not tight so I guess it's pretty similar looking

The only thing they can't share are the shoes, Beatrix have tiny little feet but it's ok, it's still good to know that they can share :p

The Grande-Duchesse Joséphine-Charlotte Concert Hall, known more usually as the Philharmonie Luxembourg, is a concert hall in Luxembourg City, in southern Luxembourg. The hall is located in the Kirchberg quarter, in the north-east of the city. Its principal tenant is Luxembourg's national orchestra, the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra.

Designed by French Pritzker Prize-winner Christian de Portzamparc, the building is in the shape of an oval, and its external appearance is provided by a colonnade screen formed by 823 steel columns. Stretching 126 metres (384 ft) at maximum length, and 109 at maximum width, the building dominates the Place de l'Europe. The building cost €113,500,000, and is owned by Luxembourg's Ministry for Public Works. The grand auditorium has a maximum capacity of 1,506 seats, but the standard capacity is set at 1,226.[1] Even at that reduced size, the auditorium is large for a city with a population of under 80,000. Two further halls, with capacities of 302 and 120 people, increase the capacity of the site further.

The Philharmonie concert organ was constructed and installed by the Karl Schuke Berliner Orgelbauwerkstatt. The pipe organ features 4 manuals plus 2.5 octave pedalboard, 81 registers, and 6738 pipes.

The Philharmonie Luxembourg is one of a series of major public cultural centres built by the Luxembourgian government in recent years. The project was launched in 1995, the year in which Luxembourg City was last European City of Culture, with a view to it being completed by the time Luxembourg would hold the honour (which, unknown at the time, it did in 2007). The building was inaugurated on 26 June 2005, as a culmination of Luxembourg's six-month presidency of the Council of the European Union.

It is named for Grand Duchess Joséphine-Charlotte, the consort of former Grand Duke Jean. Joséphine-Charlotte died on 10 January 2005: five months before the concert hall's grand opening.

Gosh dang! Why couldn't it be just a little bit more to my back?

R&S 8/88.

With the deck portion and one side of the signal bridge safely out of the way and MoW having to re-strapping the new LED bridge to the crane to move it into position for the final phase of installment, BNSF' San Bernardino Sub Dispatcher had a small window of opportunity to slug any trains that were holding out in any direction through Highgrove. As luck would have it there was a pair of Westbound intermodal trains held out at Rana waiting to get into Hobart and Long Beach Respectably. That being said the trains were probably somewhat side by side until the Santa Ana River bridge and subsequent uphill grade which the Z-train which was more apt to run up due to the fact that it was: lighter, shorter and had more HPT. So with that being said here's a blip of two Westbounds roaring up into the top of the short climb out of the Santa Ana River toward Highgrove, with BNSF 3984 taking the lead, dorky temporary signals and all.
