Due to an all-day diamond replacement project at CP Canal, all Amtrak trains were detoured from the CN Joliet Sub to Metra's former Rock Island trackage. This provided a look at what a modern-day "Rocket" could look like, had the old Rock Island been able to join up with Amtrak in 1971. This is Amtrak 21, the Texas Eagle, passing through New Lenox, almost to Joliet where it would rejoin it's normal route and continue South from there.

CEY006 leads two more CEY class on SSR empty coal AR01 dropping slowly downhill through Lithgow on the western side of the Blue Mountains. It is running in the down direction on the up main due to a track possession on the down main through Lithgow yard.
TE892 LK08NVG seen at Edgware on the wrong stand, waiting to work on route 107 towards New Barnet.
The location of route 107's stand at Edgware is on the other side. Also here is a cameo of the wrongly blinded TEH1231 LK61BKO on route N98.
Pretty much straight out of the camera. Minor crop, minor color/tone adjustments, a border and copyright. This is one of those images where when I first saw it, I said "Wow that's kinda cool". I then quickly reminded myself that it's all wrong!! The only thing in focus is the fly's butt and a wing edge, everything else is mush!! Yet I can't bring myself to delete it and everytime I go through this folder looking for something to process I stop on this image everytime!! I like it, so here it is, for better or worse!!

I, of course, had to wash Brayden's hair (Impossible to do it yesterday cause yesterday was probably my busiest day of this whole year lol, school, cinema, France, back home, lessons to study... Blah Blah Blah) so as her clothes were hanging in my living room while she was drying and as I was intrigued to see if it could work I tried her clothes on a MH Doll and actually it fits her pretty well :D
It's a bit too large to me but even on Brayden it's not tight so I guess it's pretty similar looking
The only thing they can't share are the shoes, Beatrix have tiny little feet but it's ok, it's still good to know that they can share :p

I was set up westbound and heard this eastbound. I did have time to turn all the flashes so just for giggles I turned two of the six flashes toward the nose and this what came out not to I think.

Is it just me or does it feel like the natural order of things is somehow off kilter? Nothing seems quite right at the moment.
The Route 390 has been operated by New Buses for London since December 2013 but over the last week or so the number of older VW's (Diesel Wrightbus Gemini 2's) out on the route has increased following reports of 16 NBFL's off the road at Metroline's Holloway Garage. (01/08/15)
