I came across this place on an almost overnight photo walk in Las Vegas. I guess that there's a lot more to the Las Vegas Strip than the big flashy hotels and casinos.
You never know what you might find around the next corner. Have fun exploring!

The bus had just completed a three-point turn after going towards Hounslow Central instead of towards the line of route, and turned around outside Hounslow Civic Centre.

Active Assignment Weekly: Wrong
To me, everything is wrong about this photo, yet I wanted so badly to make it work. It seemed to me that in this image, you see a boy's soul coming out of him. But I'm not used to doing slow exposures, so I was fiddling around with it while these two boys were playing basketball in the park last night. I wanted to capture more concrete images of them. Instead you see one boy and the other's movement across the court on the right, which looks like the boy in the white walked across the court and returned. What I should have done is looked up the best way to use shutter speed with people in action during the night. But I didn't, and this is what I got. I still love it, though, for some reason, even though it's not the best slow exposure.
Wrong Way sign in the fog - Canon EOS Rebel G - Fujifilm 400 - Forks Twp., PA - scanned on Epson V600.
Like the sign above says, this Caddy went the wrong way in downtown Duluth. Reported to Duluth police at 4 AM on Sunday morning, one can imagine a few plausible scenarios how the car ended up driving down the North Shore Scenic Railroad tracks.
The DPD said it wasn't stolen, so the most plausible explanation, given the wee hour incident on a Saturday night (Sunday Morning), is that a few adult beverages were involved.
The museum used its ex-BN hi-rail boom truck to pull the car back to the grade crossing from where its ill-advised journey began. DM&IR SD18 193 was standing by to assist the truck should it have issues.
Running third in a 3 pack of westbound trains is this mixed freight. The Indianapolis Line Sub was surprisingly busy today.

Many of us were having cabin fever so we organized a small group shoot in downtown in mid-March 2023. We decided to start at the State Capitol Building and then then head over to a grungy place we call Mel's Dirty Alley. Brooke joined us; I absolutely love shooting with her. She is sweet, stunning, and just a delight to be around. She oozes class, grace, and dignity, so we have nothing in common. As always, when shooting with Brooke we know it will be an awesome shoot.
~In a world where conformity breeds acceptance, STAND TALL and go against the grain, because when every ones going the wrong way, you will be headed right
~You can STAND TALL without standing on someone. You can be a victor without having victims.
~At this critical time in our nation's history, we must remember that 'a house divided against itself cannot stand'. If we learn from the past, we can STAND TALL in the future.
~STAND TALL, stand proud. Know that you are unique and magnificent. You do not need the approval of others.
~In order to STAND TALL when the world tries to knock you down, you must first kneel before God, so He can lift you up.
~STAND TALL and be proud of what you are. Never back down from what you believe in. And never be ashamed of who you are.
~I think laughter may be a form of courage. As humans we sometimes STAND TALL and look into the sun and laugh, and I think we are never more brave than when we do that.
~When people try to put you down, just STAND TALL & it will be them who will be left feeling small
~We can STAND TALL when we stand with Him.
~To earthly wisdom honor is as gold, The strong will rule—the rest must serve instead; But our Example cut a different mold—He stooped and bathed the feet of men He led. (Standing tall for Christ means stooping to help others.)
~If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity, nothing else matters. Alan Simpson
~What is a hero? Is it someone who is willing to sacrifice their life for another? Is it someone who prevents the downfall of another human being? Is it someone who defends our way of life? None of these questions can sum up to what a hero is. A hero is someone who will STAND TALL in front of the weak. A hero is someone who can stand against a majority. A hero is someone who voluntarily gives up their dreams to give that same chance of dreaming to someone less fortunate.
~The biblical character Daniel STANDS TALL in the gallery of God's remarkable servants. Born of royal heritage, yet taken into captivity when only a teenager, Daniel determined to remain faithful to God in the land of his captivity. Even at a great personal cost, Daniel spent his entire lifetime advising his captors with unusual wisdom. As an old man, having been faithful to God throughout his years, Daniel was assured by God that his faithfulness would reap a rich reward not necessarily in this life, but most certainly in the life to come."
Have a refreshing and invigorating weekend my very talented friends!
If you collapse in the water, they’ll come to your rescue. But if you collapse in the sand, even if it’s right next to them, even if you’re one of them, well, you’re just outta business.
Jump home using a shortcut it'll be fine! Never take directions from a guy who talks funny and has a brief case. Now to find a crowbar.

"No vayas por ese camino, te acabarás arrepintiendo", me dijeron mil veces.
"¿Y tú, qué vas a saber?" me preguntaba yo.
After briefly running wrong line through Woodgrange Park station 56 105 uses the crossover south of the station with 6L39 05.00 Bridgend - Dagenham Dock. I assume there must be some sort of gauging issue that requires this train to run wrong line through the station. It sure caught me by surprise when I heard the points go over and OTT maps confirmed the impending manoeuvre.
I'm deeply depressed - said the
guy to the doctor- my life is terrible ,bor
ring and uneventful
nothing ever happens. It feels like an endless hedgehog day.I just can't stand it any longer.- Well, said the doctor- you should change your way of life, you badly need passion ,challenge and risks . In other words, add pepper to your diet
In a couple of weeks the patient
returns looking more depressed and unhappy.
How are things ? -asks the doctor cheerfully.- I followed your advice, doctor, and it turned my life to a nightmare. - Well , said the doctor , Just avoid passion, risks and challenge and you'll be just fine. And don't forget to to make the next appointment with the receptionist...

Videos Gospel | Introduction
When Zhao Xun hears the words uttered by the returned Lord, she feels that these words are all the truth. However, she fears that her stature is too small and she is incapable of discerning, so wants to seek out her pastor to act as a gatekeeper. Unexpectedly, on the way to his house, she runs into Sister Zheng Lu. Through Sister Zheng's fellowship on the truth, Zhao Xun ends up having an awakening and realizes that to welcome the return of the Lord, she must focus on hearing the voice of God, that this is the only way to follow His footsteps. Blindly adoring and following the pastors and elders is simply taking a wrong turn.
