letting God write my story...
This picture is inspired by something gina quoted from a book she had read...
I know that the Lord is writing my story whether i like it or not (josh :) )
but i feel like i have been hanging onto the pen and not trusting that God is in complete control...
So the book is my life, and the words written in it are every detail of my life, every struggle and every prayer...
I find myself too often sitting behind that book with pen in hand giving "input" to God the author of my life on what i want and thinking that i know better then the one who was inspired to write my story. A story that is completely perfect according to the will of my soveriegn God.
I am putting the pen down and walking away, i know it won't always be easy but the Lord is growing me and showing me through differen't crosses in my life what it means to FULLY trust in Him...
I want to be able to say this..that
"My life in everyway is and will continue to be UTTERLY DEPENDANT upon Him in whom i live, and move and have my being"
Psalm 37:5
"Commit your way to the Lord ; trust in Him and He will act."
Do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself!

Glass boxes embedded with handwriting and letter text on many layers.
This artwork and event was the result of the Write Back Project:
I asked you to write your future self a letter, I then used the letters as inspiration for a sculpture, embedding fragments of the text and handwriting into the glass surface: and why is it a time capsule? I will be posting them back to you in 3 years time...
