WPs 7125 and 7056 wait for departure from Vadodara with 55 Fast Pass on 20/10/78. Not the best of shots, I'm afraid, Kodachrome II is a bit limited after sunset, but this is the only shot I have of a double-header on BG passenger. From memory the load was 20 or 21 bogies.
This formation is all that is left of a complex of palm trees that used to house a mutlichambered nest, home of a local monk parakeet community.
WP GP40 3535, with engineer Kirk Bear at the control stand, is running at track speed at Pleasant Grove. Kirk had the extra flags flying on this day.
