Samfya's economy relies on fishing. Or it used to. The problem with that is there are almost no fish left. So few that there is a fishing ban for half the year. Even during fishing season, fishermen extract only the tiniest, driest, scaliest little fish imaginable from the lake. These two men had been fishing all day, and hadn't caught anything larger than a sardine. "We are better off relaxing," they said with a laugh.
Hi Mr. James,
Don't worry, my grandmother was with me the whole time I was taking all
these pictures.
I was safe.
I don't know which ones will tell you what you need to know about the types
of clouds like wall clouds, shelf clouds
And the like so I will send them all and you can pick which ones to keep.
I made the pictures small so you can see them all.
Most of the pictures I took when I was facing South and West towards
Birmingham.
When it got closer, I made picture and was facing South to Anniston and East
to White Plains.
Some were taken right when you said the tornado was heading to downtown
Jacksonville.
It looked like it came right over our house but we didn't have any damage.
I know how to pray about that not happening!
The last of the pictures I made looking to White Plains looking South and
East.
Thank you and Miss Ashley and Jason!
We are still praying for your throat to be all better.
Your friend,

This mixed-media piece began as a black and white photograph I took of my younger sister whilst asleep with a handful of worry dolls. I expanded from this narrative theme in a series of media, but in this piece the original photograph was overlayed with acrylic paint and then dititally processed, adding over the image a hand-written and intimate stream-of-consciousness monologue of teenage anxieties. This conjecture into the reasons behind the worry dolls turned the picture into a story, and using photoshop I pulled out individual letters to create a graphic slogan; echoing the reassurance of the worry dolls.
hmm... I worry to much.. Its so annoying, but when a classmate has a problem paying for a package.. of course its no problem for me to pay up... and leaving myself spending way to much for school items.. With a bit of luck I'll have it back in the end of the month (Year?)
Oh well.. Its a personal problem of mine, that I can't say "no" to someone when I can help... *sight*
Ow well, Lets go out with a smile =) at the time I'm writing this, I'm home from work and having a nice talk with a STUPID Great Annoying "don't want people to comment" Bastard classmate ;) *He'll understand =p*
As per usual, I was stressing about life. Money, job, choices, blah blah blah. Went to the library to do the crossword and sudoku to take my mind off of worrying. Later slapped this one under a bridge near the library.

Deb's husband, looking as though she'd just bought another camera. :-)
Neat little kid, sitting right out on the st by my friend's house. He was nice enough to look at the camera- and NOT smile as most kids do.
I almost cropped this one because the two girls on the right are so cute, but the one on the left even though blurred, just stole my heart and made it even more interesting to me.
