On my short vacation to Rhodes, my ex-boyfriend and I spent hours trying to find the "right" worry beads.
The trail crosses a road that leads to the model aircraft club's parking area. The bridge between Monterey Road and the modeler's airfield was washed out more than a year ago and no repairs have yet been undertaken. So, no need to look both ways before crossing.
... about world peace, where is my next cookie coming from?, how will I get a nap today?
The things that occupy Savannah's thoughts ...
SarahBella was my high school best friend. The first time she called and told me she was pregnant, I was halfway through college and totally did NOT shriek/scream/cry from excitement. I said "I just feel like we're in really different place in our lives." Ew. So self centered. She put me in my place with a simple, "We aren't, but I'm happy for you getting an A in biology." Fast forward to today, when SarahBella's children and family feel like my own. I have watched them grow and heard them cry and giggle and speak and been closer to them than any other children. As I, five years later, begin to contemplate a family of my own, I know SarahBella's will help me and support me as I do it. Being a part of the quiet, loud, messy, and polished moments of their family has given me a window into real life with children. The images I take of SarahBella with her children are the small way I'd like to pay her back.

I can't get to sleep
I think about the implications
Of diving in too deep
And possibly the complications
Especially at night
I worry over situations
I know I'll be alright
Perhaps it's just imagination
